Duration: 9 hours
Cancellation: 24 hours
Highlights
  • Lancelin Sand Dunes - Stop at the Bakery for a toilet stop and food if you are hungry. Then we drive to the pure white, giant sand dunes where you can try sandboarding. Also a great place to take photos.
  • Nilgen Lookout - A beautiful nature reserve where we stop to see wildflowers in season. We either stop here or Hangover Bay depending on the weather and the group on the day.
  • Hangover Bay - A beautiful little secluded bay that was used as a meeting place by local Aboriginal Tribes. See the plant the Aborigines used to make fishing nets as well as numerous other plants used as Bush Tucker and Medicine. If we stop at Nilgen Nature Reserve we generally don’t have time to stop here as well.

Perfect day - OMG how any one can rate this less than excellent I don't know. Sam our driver/guide was awesome from the minute we arrived at the pick up. Trying to pick a day sat in the rainy UK that would be nice is always pot luck but what a great day. Sandboarding was great fun. But the Pinicles and stargazing is what drew us and it so didn't disappoint one bit. Seeing the rings on Saturn was perfect. To see our first Shooting Star was an amazing end

Awesome way to adventure - What a super trip! We started the adventure sandboarding in lanclin, which was heaps of fun, and then travelled up to the desert. Madgical place. Lots of good infomation around the stories of the first nations people. Dinner was fab. It was a bit rainy and cloudy on our night, but the guides made an effort to track the stars and we found another spot. Good value for $ too.

Despite the minor delay... - Despite the minor delay in being picked up, the tour was amazing. So much fun at the dessert and the little pitstops along the way. Amazing views at night with delicious food as it was a cloudless night.

Great Guide, Great Experience, Great Tour - Our driver and guide, Don, is a humorous and nice guy. He is helpful and has a lot of stories to tell, not a boring moment. My wife and I enjoyed the tour thoroughly. Claire, the admin lady whom I called to make some enquiries before the tour, was also absolutely wonderful and helpful. Thanks Claire and Don!
