Highlights
  • Lancelin Sand Dunes - Stop at the Bakery for a toilet stop and food if you are hungry. Then we drive to the pure white, giant sand dunes where you can try sandboarding. Also a great place to take photos.
  • Nilgen Lookout - A beautiful nature reserve where we stop to see wildflowers in season. We either stop here or Hangover Bay depending on the weather and the group on the day.
  • Hangover Bay - A beautiful little secluded bay that was used as a meeting place by local Aboriginal Tribes. See the plant the Aborigines used to make fishing nets as well as numerous other plants used as Bush Tucker and Medicine. If we stop at Nilgen Nature Reserve we generally don’t have time to stop here as well.
  • The Pinnacles - See the magnificent Pinnacles Desert at sunset. Enjoy a barbeque dinner with wine followed by stargazing with Telescopes and Astro Binoculars. Here Dreamtime stories of the night sky created by the world’s first astronomers, the Australian Aborginals.

Another world - This is my 2nd time doing this trip. This tour company go above & beyond in making the experience wonderful for everyone. Each time I have been able to see different stars due to their experience & dedication. My first trip was rainy & cloudy & they stopped on the way back to Perth to ensure we did not miss out on seeing some stars. We saw Saturn with it's rings that night. My second experience was a beautiful clear night & we saw Jupier with its bands across it. We also saw many other stars. The Pinnacles are facinating on their own & then you get to eat dinner under the night sky Each guide is knowledable & friendly. At the end of the night they drop you home to your accomodation. Great tour & I would highly reccomend them.

My new hobby - star-gazing - The Pinnacles were incredible, so many of different sizes over such a large area. Very versatile drivers, not only knowledgeable about the sights and stars but produced a delicious supper too. The moon through the telescope was very different from the normal naked eye view.

Fantastic sunset and sand boarding: highly recommended - Fantastic tour - seamless pick up and drop off. Time was managed well. Sand boarding was super fun, and Sam was hilarious. The pinnacles were magical, we had a glorious sunset, good dinner, and a good length of time stargazing while listening to factoids and stories from Skip.

Recommend - We had an awesome trip me doing the self drive tour. It meant we could drive around the pinnacles in our own time me rather than at the pace of the bus tour. We still got the bbq and commentary. Was great to see the pinnacles change from 5-8pm
