Pick up from Medan international Airport or from Medan city
Bukit Lawang - - pick up from medan Airports, harbour port and around medan city hotel to bukit lawang by private car.

JUNGLE TREKKING 2 DAYS 1 NIGHT in NATIONAL PARK
Gunung Leuser National Park - -start at 9:00 AM.
-Approximately 40 minutes walk to Gunung Leuser National Park.
-Observation of orangutans and other animals, explanation of local trees and plants.
-Short stop for fruit refreshments.
-Continue to walk deeper into the jungle.
-Around 1 PM stop for a local lunch in the jungle.
-Another 2-3 hours of jungle walking, observation of orangutans and other wild animals.
-Around 3:30 PM we arrive at the campsite. Here you can swim, relax, have tea or coffee and a small snack. In the meantime, the guides will prepare the campsite and local dinner such as curry, rice and so on.
-After dinner you can continue to relax, play games or chat with your guide. Afterwards, you will sleep to the beautiful sounds of the jungle
Back from jungle trekking and stay 1 more night in bukit lawang
Bukit Lawang - -continue jungle trek than back to bukit lawang by traditional rafting in the river bank

Highly recommended!! - What an experience it was seeing the orangutans in the jungle!!
Pickup and Drop-off at Medan airport went smoothly, and the accommodation in Bukit Lawang was very comfortable.
The guides Irpan and Rendi were fabulous-always smiling and ensuring we were safe and hydrated. Jungle food was excellent, never went hungry!! Finishing off the trip with the river taxi was a fun experience.

An amazing experience - We did the 4 night 5 day hike and raft option.
It was truly an experience that we will never forget.
Our team of Hafiz. Hendrik, Adam and Heri were a great group of fellas.
We saw lots of animals and also some amazing views whilst being supported through what was at times challenging hike.

5** trip - A must do !! We booked for a 2 day trek but extended via WhatsApp for an extra day which was definitely worth it. Collection and drop off included from hotel or airport which made arriving/leaving Bukit Lawang very easy with timings being organised through WhatsApp.
Amazing guides (Dedek and rendi) who were very happy to go at your pace whilst climbing up and down through the jungle and constantly checking in to ensure you weren’t hungry or needed a rest. We saw multiple types of monkeys and orangutans on both days of trekking, and learnt lots about the jungle/trees/birds/etc. On the last day we visited the waterfall and tubed down the river which was very enjoyable and we got soaked ! Camping in the jungle for two nights was an amazing experience and the homestay prior/post the trekking days had a comfy bed and view of the river.

Highlight of our trip - Definitely the highlight of our 2-month trip in Asia. The rainforest is simply unbelievable and our guides - Dolat, Rendi & John - were amazing. We truly miss them. We spent 2 nights in Bukit Lawang and 1 night in the jungle in between. We saw 8 orangutans, 10+ gibbons, countless thomas leaf monkeys, hornbills, turtles, chameleon, great argus, water monitors, and many many more. Honestly thinking about coming back soon!

A beautiful experience - Bukit Lawang jungle trekking was a beautiful Experience. We Could see different types of monkeys and the very relaxed orangutans. Also,we learnt about different trees and the efforts to keep orangutans in their natural environment. Our guide and guide assistants were very knowledgeable and helpful when we needed a break or even helped us with our bags. Food was amazing during the trekking and the campsite. We camped next to the river. Accomodation was simple but confortable. We felt very welcome. Hafiz, Hendrik and Rendi took care of us all the time.

That was one of the highlights of my life so far. Two three-day jungle tours and several day tours.
Since I will definitely return, I will book the tours again with Izoen and his team!!!
From the first moment you feel like you are in a small family, everyone is looked after and all wishes are tried to be fulfilled. The guides treat the animals and nature with extreme care. Knowledge is imparted at all times. There is always singing and laughing, whether while hiking or around the campfire in the evening. And you definitely won't starve. ;-)
I recommend staying in Bukit Lawang for at least a week. The people and the entire environment offer the perfect moment to completely switch off. Just sit by the river for two days or walk through the town and observe. Go in contact with the people, you will be all time safe.

Once in a life experience - It was just a fantastic experience. You start the tour in a wonderful small village in the middle of the jungle. Then you make this 2 days trekking on the jungle. You can see a lot of monkeys and orangutan. The guides uncle bob and amri helps you with everything you need, and they try to make you see as much animals as they can. I really recommend this tour for everyone.

The last paradises - Unbelievable, great team, organization 100%, the guys on site gave it their all!!! We felt very safe and comfortable. Lovely preparation of the food - jungle a dream and we saw lots of orangutans 🦧. The hike should not be underestimated in these temperatures.

4days/3nights Jungle trek - If you're looking for the best nature and cultural experience, SeeBukitLawang is the number 1 choice. I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience. Izoen did a wonderful job providing information as well as arranging transport from Medan and arranging my stay in Bukit Lawang at Sahnan Guesthouse. My guides Arie, John, and Rijao were the best!!! They were constantly looking out for me and making sure I had everything I needed. Not only were they courteous but they were great guys who knew how to have fun. These guys were very eco friendly and were always respectful of the animals and making sure we were leaving no trace in the jungle. I learned so much from these guys and can't wait to share my experience with my family and friends. If you're interested in doing a long trek like I did make sure you're physically ready for the challenging hikes as well as staying on top of your hydration. I never sweat so much in my life 🤣. Thank you guys for this once in a lifetime experience.

Amazing time with the orangutans - Encountering orangutans with an amazing tour guide was an unforgettable experience. He went above and beyond to ensure the best view for the monkeys. Highly recommend this tour for a truly memorable adventure!
