Awesome! - Booked via viator for the best price available. Rode there by scooter and finding jetty was the way and smooth. Arrived there 10 mins before and got a WhatsApp message where to find the stand of royal mangrove. It’s left to the main entrance where all the people are holding to find their stand. The team was great. The boat very comfortable. The tour was impressive. We saw eagles, monkeys, bats and fish. Our tourguide (I forgot his name, but broad guy and very friendly… Hassan maybe…) was awesome. Took good care of us and explained everything. Answered all the questions. Only downside has to do with the fishfarm. And tbh that’s probably the business of the fishfarm, but I Persia lily didn’t like seeing those beautiful fish being held in too small basins. They have fresh water but those animals shouldn’t be held captive. You can see the small fish everywhere when snorkeling. The big fish should live in the sea and be free. It seemed entertaining for the most and you get to see all kinds of different fish there. They are held there for display though. Don’t think they do a lot of actual fishfarming… Our guide explained that he doesn’t recommend feeding the monkeys so they won’t get dependent on humans. They don’t feed the eagles regularly out of the same reason. Very friendly guy. He also took good care that the customers didn’t let their rubbish fly around. Very nature friendly. I loved seeing the bats. They charged another 2 RM for the bat cave but absolutely worth it. Beautiful seeing them all hanging from the ceiling :) Would recommend the tour! It was the best price and a great experience. Thank you very much :)

Absolutely wonderful - We booked via Viator. Rode to the jetty by scooter. Easy way. Easy find. As we arrived I got a WhatsApp message from royal manggrove tour and we had to wait until the others arrived. You can buy drinks and snacks at jetty. Team of royal mangrove is very friendly. The boat was comfortable. Our guide (sorry I forgot his name. Broad guy and very friendly :)) was very nice and informative. We enjoyed the tour very much. We saw eagles, monkeys, bats and fish. Only downside for me was the Fishfarm. The food was decent. I didn’t like the way the fish are held though. The basins are in fresh water but too small and in my opinion animals from the sea shouldn’t be held for display. You can see the smaller fish everywhere when you go snorkeling. The bigger fish are meant to be in deeper water. Our guide explained to us that he doesn’t recommend feeding the monkeys and that they don’t feed the eagles often because they want to ensure that the animals don’t get dependent on humans. Very nature friendly. I loved seeing the bats. They did charge us another 2 RM to see the bat cave but that’s was absolutely fine. Very happy and if you have the time you should book this trip with royal mangrove <3

Great mangrove trip - worth the money - Really good trip and informative guide. Main part to be improved in related to the fish farm, where many fish were kept in captivity for display, not "farming" or breeding. Also, restaurant is a little slow with food, even when preorder was made. But that's to be expected. Otherwise, a great trip with good value for money. We booked on Klook. In low season the "street price" can be considerably lower.
