Fun Educational Bike Ride - The country side bike tour is a great way to see and experience Langkawi from up close. Our guide Afie was amazing. Her knowledge of the local birds and wildlife made the experience not only a fun activity but an educational one too. The pace of the tour is manageable for causal cyclists but do note that there are short stretches whereby you are cycling on the road, so not ideal for complete novices. All in all, a really unique way to experience the Langkawi country side. Thanks Afie!

You can feel the nature at your leisure. - Our guide, Iqbal, was a very good guide. He is young but has a lot of knowledge. He answers all my questions about plants, birds, fruits and agriculture, and he doesn't rush me when I suddenly stop at places that interest me. My eldest son, who is nine years old, is too small for a mountain bike and his toes don't even touch the ground when he sits on the saddle, but Iqbal supported him so that he could start pedaling well at every place we went. We cycled leisurely and Iqbal moved forward slowly. I was thrilled when I found a bird's nest! I also saw a male bird weaving blue grass to make a nest. We saw birds, fruits, lizards, and popping cotton seeds, and we also stopped by rice fields and fishing boat moorings. You can enjoy the nature of Langkawi at your own pace. Finally, we stopped at a waterfall. We didn't swim, but Iqbal called out to us at the right time as we played with the water and touched the water, and we received traditional Malaysian sweets. He also made slightly sweet coffee for adults. The bikes are 24-26 inches, so we recommend that you are over 140cm tall. The roads are paved, but there are also some gravel sections. The road to the waterfall is steep, so you will need some physical strength. But have fun! Highly recommended for those who want to experience Langkawi at a leisurely pace.

Awesome experience and tour guide! - Hello Junglewalla, we would like to commend Iqbal (hope spelling is correct) for a wonderful bike tour and we are very happy with his great effort to spot interesting birds including hornbills , animals and plants including cotton and petai , as well as provide us with very interesting facts and stories ! He also ensure our safety when crossing roads , match our pace and allow us time to enjoy and appreciate the nature and scenery. We also like his very friendly personality. He also took effort to search info for us if he didnt know the answer ! Thank you for the considerate idea to have a car follow behind and to bring us back ( we were too tired to cycle back to office 😅) .

Amazing Tour with Afie - Afie was an amazing guide. She was so knowledgeable about the area and the nature. She was very patient with us and we loved the experience. The waterfall at the end was amazing to cool off in and the dessert treats were a delight. We would highly recommend this tour, especially with Afie.

Great Tour - This was a really nice way to be able to get a glimpse into local life on Langkawi. Afie was very kind and knew a lot about the local animals! She also gave us a great recommendation about the local night market that night. We really enjoyed the afternoon!

Perfect bike tour - We really enjoyed the tour. Afie is a very nice and knowledgeable guide. Biking was at a relaxed pace so that we could enjoy the view. It was a perfect balance of biking and making small stops. One of the highlights was the end of the tour - a dip in the waterfall and delicious local desserts. Thank you again for a great experience!

Go explore the wilderness! - Best choice to go on the tour as we got to see the ”hidden” gems of the town on bicycle. Our tour guide afie was really accomodating and explained even the flora and fauna. We must say our legs got super tired and afie was super understanding in going a slower pace and kept in check from time to time. Will definitely be back for other tours the next time we’re back in LGK!

A pleasant ride through padi fields and away from tourist hordes - After our evening birdwatching trip, we combined it with cycling and in the morning, hoping to catch a different set of birds. It was pleasant to ride through padi fields and to the mangrove area. It ended at a waterfall, but there wasn't really much time to linger. The local snacks, especially the dhal vadai, were yummy. We got the same guide and driver as our evening birdwatching trip, so we were well looked after. Our grouse would be that we wished the bikes were better maintained - we couldn't gear down to the smallest chain ring that would have helped us up the last uphill curve to the waterfall area's carpark. Also, at just under 7km, the ride was too short - but we understand that it's a toss-up between a real cycling trip and one with birdwatching mixed in

Not suitable for family and kids - They write from 10 years old in the description but it is not for kids. I have msg them before the trip, once when I booked. And once when the guide sent me a msg. That we have a kid’ of 10 years old and they should prepare the bike. It has not been done. We travel 1h to reach the meeting point. All ready. To find out that they don’t have kid bike. How disappointing! You should be at least 160cm if you want to ride. So we have to cancel the trip and waste 2h of transport. For nothing.
