Fun and Educational - We wanted to know what we were seeing while driving around the area and this did exactly that. It was very educational, and in a fun way, with some interesting topics (e.g., historical figures and bugs). I liked that the audio was up-to-date and didn't whitewash the history of the mines and workers' difficulties. We linked the audio to our car screen, so we saw photos of what the audio was instructing us about, too. It took a few stops to learn how the GPS moved the audio forward, and then it was very easy. We appreciated that we could do the tour on our own time, stopping or moving on as we wanted.

Absolutely amazing!!! ! Highly recommended so much fun!!! - This was the coolest add on to my trip. So helpful and had cool historic facts from the area we traveled!!! New Gorge River.. I've never heard about this before and it was well worth the money .. it narrated the trip step by step and was more precise then the Google Map. I would definitely recommend and definitely buy again..

Scenic tour - This was a beautiful drive and really showed you what it was like to cross the river before the bridge. Plenty of places to stop and get out.

The tour was just fine, with an amazing narrator! - The guided tour was great. Took a few minutes to figure out the app. The learn more part could be a little more, quickly, accessible. It should have a button of its own. The tour, however, was fantastic. Lots of stories and stuff. The must points actually helped a lot for my kids' photo sessions. They enjoyed a lot more than we did, honestly. Definitely would try this again for another tour.

Too long with detours. Good stories but too little time in the park and too much on the highway. - The one detour to get to a lookout was supposed to be a short walk. The gate to the drive was locked so it was quite a walk to get there. The Thurmond detour should be taken out. Once we got there and saw the narrow, dead end, very steep road to get there, we turned around. After 4 hours of driving, with no indication of when it was over, we turned it off and went to eat. The stories were interesting and the stops in the park were nice but too much time was spent on the highway.
