• The Parikkala Sculpture Park - Explore the globally acclaimed contemporary folk art display featuring concrete sculptures by artist Veijo Rönkkönen. Over 50 years, his dedication produced approximately 550 concrete figures and a stunning garden. The young Veijo Rönkkönen was known for being quite reserved. Creating art was his method of engaging with the outside world; he preferred to invite the world to him rather than venture out. Thousands of visitors explore the park annually. Entry is free. • Finnish Forest Museum Lusto - Enjoy a self-guided tour of the Finnish Forest Museum Lusto, offering surprising insights and varied perspectives on forests. Dive into forest culture within the Punkaharju national landscape. Lusto’s exhibitions, collections, events, work demonstrations, and theme days provide a rich and illustrative understanding of the importance of forests in Finnish life.
  The national museum dedicated to forest culture is situated in Punkaharju, amidst the stunning ridges and lakes of Eastern Finland.
  Afterward, we will head to a fantastic restaurant for lunch.

• Lusto - The Finnish Forest Museum - Following the museum visit, we will proceed to the Museo Restaurant Lusto. This restaurant, led by award-winning chef Ilkka Lääveri, offers meals in a delightful setting, surrounded by the beautiful eastern Finnish ridge and lake scenery. Located next to the Finnish Forest Museum Lusto in Punkaharju, the restaurant uses locally sourced ingredients and features a menu with options for lunch, dinner, or snacks. Vegan choices are always available, and nearly everything on the menu is already gluten-free and lactose-free. You can choose your preferred dishes from a three-course set menu or A-la-carte.
• Punkaharju Ridge - The Punkaharju esker ridge has been a renowned tourist destination for two centuries due to its breathtaking natural beauty. It is one of Finland’s national landscapes, and the stunning lake views framed by its towering pines remain the area’s main attraction. We will drive along the ridge road, celebrated as one of the world’s most beautiful drives, stopping at various viewpoints for photos and walking some trails (time and weather permitting).
