Beautiful experience - Wonderful experience. The tour has a visit to the beautiful vineyard gardens that I had not had in any other vineyard is really beautiful. Pepe who guided us provided knowledge, accompaniment and his tour was spectacular. And the best thing about the tour was the picnic, being able to share with friends in the beautiful fields, with spectacular weather and delicious food was the best thing about the experience. 10 out of 10. Congratulations!!

santa Rita wine tour - A great tour mostly because our guide named Alex was smart, informative and had a good sense of humor, and the wine was excellent also.

Top 3 experience in Chile - PICK UP: On time (between 8 and 9am) from our hotel. I would also note that I had to change our hotel pick up location due to a hotel issue so we went to a Turistik kiosk in San Cristobal, and Oscar was very friendly and helpful.
DRIVE THERE: Octavio was a great driver, and Josefa was friendly and fun, teaching us about the Chilean drinking culture and the Santa Rita vineyard.
BIKE TRIP: Gorgeous bike ride through the vineyards to Carmen, a winery within Santa Rita to learn about the wine-making process. Then we biked to a lovely shaded area where Josefa surprised us with a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc from Carmen! Refreshing wine and lovely time. Then we biked back and had our official wine tasting (separate review of Santa Rita).
Overall: so much fun, highly recommend!

Santa Rita By Bike - It was great. Daniel was very patient and friendly. We were picked up and dropped off on time. Half a day tour is just the right amount. We loved it.

Amazing guides!!!! - The highlight of the tour were the two amazing girls that toured us around!
The location was stunning. The cycling easy and very enjoyable. I had fun and learnt a lot of new things about wine, from how it’s produce to how appreciate it in a beginner (like me!) tasting crush course 😊
I’m sure all Turistik guides are good, but if I was to come back I’d definitely ask for Valentina Tapia and Angel. Fun, learning and great time guaranteed!!!
Thank you ladies for the fabulous tour!!

Bad Security at the Santa Rita Cafe La Panaderia! - Do not give your drivers licence to the cafe for an exchange for the picnic basket that is provided with the tour!!! They lost my license and were not cooperating with even trying to find my ID. Not a secure way of protecting anyones identity! File a police report of this it happens to you! Obviously this wasn't the first time this happened at this winery!! Our guide had to investigate with security and their cameras of the staff. We lost an hour of our tour due to this security nightmare! The cafe staff gave my ID to another customer on our tour. The tour was not worth the $$. We signed up for the bike tour and got a different tour.

Horrible - Horrible experience! No communication of where exact pick up location. Told to go to a vacant parking lot. We were shuffled onto several buses and thought we were on the bicycle tour and were obviously on the bus of another tour. The Cafe La Panaderia at Santa Rita vineyard wud only give us our picnic basket in exchange of a drivers license. Upon return of our basket, they lost my drivers license. Stolen identity/security issue! My id was needed to get back to my country! We spent the last hour of our tour to find my id. So happen my id was within another participants id. Poor security on behalf of the Viator/ Santa Rita Cafe staff! If you encounter this, please file a police report! So much for touring the vineyard!

Change your expectations - I would not recommend this tour to anyone. First of all, the communication is absolutely terrible. After booking, I received zero information. I used all the options I could find for the company and finally got some contact the (late) afternoon the day before the tour. It had been unclear whether or not we would be on the hotel pick-up route or meet at the 'pick-up point'. They finally confirmed we would be picked up. Then they were 30 mins late to pick us up and, again, I had to call them to get any kind of update. After they picked us up, we drove for about 5 minutes to the 'pick-up point' where everyone dispersed onto different buses. If we had known exactly where the 'pick-up point' was, we could have just walked there but the information provided was so vague we had no idea where it was or that it was so darn close. If the company improved their communication even slightly, it would help.
Now, on to the actual tour, it was so bad I won't even go into all the details. Here is the summary: do not expect any kind of real bike ride. It was an extremely short distance. We also stopped every two minutes. We had two tour guides and had a group of two different language speakers. It would have been great if they had split the group at the stops and each guide delivered the info to one group in their language. However, they kept us all together and then did the same presentation twice--one language after the other. You can imagine how much longer this made the day go with half of the time being rather boring.
They also make it seem like you get a wine tasting at a few places which is not the case. You get no wine during the drawn-out, short-distance bike ride and then get 3 tastings at the winery where the tour started. This may not have been too bad if the wine at the one place you get any wasn't terrible. I couldn't even drink some of it, it was so bad.
Lastly, there was no time to explore anything on your own (not that there was much else to see besides the gift shop) and then got back on the bus. All-in-all, a total waste of time and money. We used a different tour company for each excursion during our trip and Turistik Chile was the worst.
