Outstanding - Fantastic. Could not be more impressed by this day. Grandchildren still buzzing. Whole team friendly and welcoming, taking time to include everyone. Food to die for.

A Walk in the Woods with new friends! - We would HIGHLY recommend going to the Donkey Dreamland sanctuary!! This was our very favorite activity to do while staying in Malaga. The taxi ride to and from wasn't cheap, but it was well worth it. Just getting out of the hustle and bustle of Malaga and getting out to the sanctuary was like going to a different world. Walking through the sanctuary, learning about how it started, how the donkeys are brought it, taken care of and rehabilitated, and meeting all of the wonderful/caring volunteers was a calming balm to our fast paced vacation. Lucia was the volunteer who helped us get to know the donkeys. I was thrilled when a young 10 month old donkey got affectionate and gave me a hug! With Lucia and another volunteer, we took the donkeys on a hike down through the woods in the mountain. We each had our own donkey!! At about 1/2 way, we took a break while the donkeys ate and we had water (that was provided) before heading back. After we returned, a wonderful lunch awaited us on the terrace overlooking the donkey sanctuary and hills beyond. The food was vegetarian -- and was like a delicious banquet -- with fruits, veggies, breads, humus, lemon curd spread, muffins and other dips/spreads. We were thoroughly replete when we were finished! All of the volunteers were so amazing and we could really see the passion that they have in caring for these beautiful donkeys! We highly recommend!!!

My wife and I visited... - My wife and I visited Donkey Dreamland, walking with our nominated donkey Santos was a pleasure, he was adorable. We loved walking in the beautiful countryside, the Spanish young lady was wonderful. (Sorry I can't remember her name) She answered all of our questions and explained about the donkeys & the sanctuary in great detail. The Dutch lady and another gentleman (volunteers) were great. We opted to have food after the walk as part of our tour, the food was fresh and delicious. Thank you all for making it a memorable day, you guys are doing a brilliant job. Sigue adelante!

A day I will never forget - One of the best days I’ve had in the last 10yrs. Everyone was amazing and we got to take the Donkeys down onto the beach for National Horse Day. The volunteers are all amazing and work as a great team/family. I started the day as a Solo Traveller with strangers and ended the day more in love with Donkeys and new friends Would recommend this to any animal lover. Lucia is my favourite but shhh don’t tell the others

Fabulous experience! - My wife and I got to meet the donkeys and all the great people who volunteer there. Then we got to take a donkey for a lovely walk in the woods with the other couples and donkeys and guides. I love donkeys anyway, but it was so much fun. Then we had a fantastic brunch.

Lovely Donkey Sanctuary - Been a couple of times now. Firstly in December went on a donkey walk and then lunch. It’s an easy walk and everyone has their own donkey, walking round the nearby roads and woods for just under an hour. Lovely veggie lunch afterwards. Then we went again in January with daughter and husband. Background info given on all donkeys and allowed in enclosures to stroke them. A very well run place, with well organised volunteers.
