Join us for a sumptuous cheese and wine tasting experience at the highest point of the island as the sun sets over Gran Canaria. This tour takes you through some of the most famous localities in the heartland of the island. Immerse yourself in the breathtaking panorama provided by the island’s core while making unforgettable memories with every step. The trip will take you across abundant gorges, colossal volcanic craters, monstrous stones, and towering cliff faces, all while presenting unrivaled aerial views. The tour also includes a serene sunset walk on the island’s highest territory, viewing the stunning visual of the cloud ocean from the flatlands of a former volcano, while experiencing a selection of local produce. You will not miss the island’s famous geological and environmental wonders like Roque Nublo, Roque Bentayga and the verdant pine woods and mountains of Tamadaba.
Hiking distance: 3 Km
- You need to bring: sport clothes and shoes, sun cream, warm coat, something light to eat, 1.5l of drinking water.
- This is a group activity for a maximum of 20 people. You will share your time with other clients.
- Full-day tour: 9 to 11,5 hours, including 6,5 hours for the main activity and 2,5 to 5 hours for round-trip transportation, depending on the pickup location.
- Beware: winding roads ahead. Consider motion anti-sickness tablets if needed.
- The minimum age suggested for this tour is 5 years. Their parents or legal tutors must accompany children under 18.

A memorable day out in the heart of Gran Canaria - To anyone looking for a memorable day trip filled with idyllic views as well as historical and natural wonders in Gran Canaria - I couldn't recommend this tour highly enough.
Our guide for the day was Santi. Born and raised on the island, he held a wealth of knowledge ranging from the islands micro climates to the history of the indigenous inhabitants which he imparted enthusiastically with the group throughout the journey into the heart of the island.
As mentioned in the advert, the tour stops at several locations which allowed us ample time to wander off freely to explore and take photos. Santi regularly offered us refreshments during these stops, and was there to answer any questions we had about the local wildlife or geology including the awe inspiring calderas which have formed on the island as a result of past volcanic activity. We also received a generous complimentary lunch at a rural village accompanied by a glass of local wine at around the midway point.
The day concluded with a hike up past "El Monje" and all culminated in witnessing sunset at the summit of Pico de las Nieves, the highest peak of Gran Canaria standing at nearly 2,000 meters above sea level - which was a sight to behold.

Spectacular Day out with the wonderful Climbo - Excellent day out with Climbo, I had a magical time with the group and our lovely guide Victor. The photos I took didn’t do justice to the beautiful places we visited and there was plenty of laughter and good atmosphere between everyone. Victor was an exceptional guide, telling us about the island and making each of us feel part of the group. I would 100% recommend to anyone wanting to do something different, and to use Climbo, they take excellent care of you.

One of the best excursions experienced - One of the best excursions I have ever experienced. The guides were extremely lovely Santiago &Mike were true showmen (sorry if I messed up the names). Real professionalism, the organisation top notch, views were sensational. Greats value for price, fully recommend.

Such a perfect experience - Honestly, I found the tour better than I expected.
Both Mike and Santiago were very professional, knowledgeable, were also very funny and lay back.
While is true you'll have to spent some time on the bus it should be a given as you will be traveling to many points of the island.
The views are amazing, I think there are no words to express these views, so please go and witness it yourself

Trip to the Heart of the Volcano on Gran Canario - The two guides were very professional:
Benjamin and Victor.
They took care about the group and shared a lot of interesting details about the islands, nature and history.
Always on time.
Nice group pictures.
The creator of the huge, which we visited in the first part of the trip was really impressive.
In the second part of the trip we had an interesting hike to Roco Nublo - a peak at one of the most picturesque points of the root with excellent views on the valley.
At the end of the day watching the sun set at the highest point of the island was the icing on a cake.
We made unforgettable pictures.

Tour with Nice Sunset View - We enjoyed very nice view, especially the sunset! I recommend you all to try it when you travel in Gran Ganaria! Also good choice for Asian tourists to take nice pictures. Our guide Victor is so nice guy and very enthusiastic!

Nice full-day trip - Nice full-day trip with a lot of information, a regular stop, a lunch and a hike after a mountain top, ending with the sunset at the highest point of the island. Definitely worth it. Victor our guide tells a lot and also has a lot of humor.

A Dream day in Gran Canaria - The best day out in Gran Canaria, seeing some incredibly dreamy landscapes.
The tour guide Angelica a.k.a the Queen of Gran Canaria was amazing, full of knowledge, helpful and full of laughs.
The sunset was spectacular and our group was a pleasure to meet.
Lots of banter and beautiful scenery, a great combo.
