Brilliant! Safe, friendly, accommodating x - Fabulous day, definitely worth it if you are thinking. Coach picks you up and drops you off. Tour guide was brilliant, Thankyou Micheal and Ignacio, they were absolutely brilliant, felt entirely safe the whole way around and even through the bendy roads in the Timafanya. 1000/10, thank you guys so much!!

Great informative visit around the volcano landscape - Excellent trip . We left Playa Blanca at 9 am and returned at 2:30 .
Initially you spend an hour on the coach ( including swapping coaches) before arriving at the Timanfaya national park .
The camel ride was interesting (ā¬11euros each) followed by 3 experiments outside the restaurant. Very entertaining.
We then had a journey through the landscape with supporting pre recorded commentary which was excellent .
Finally we stopped for wine tasting which was ok and gave time for an ice cream before setting off back to the resort
Highly recommended
Tips
Donāt take very small children as a long time is spent on the coach so they get restless
No time for purchase of food or snacks
Sitting upstairs on the double decker bus gives great views but difficult to hear the commentary at times
Donāt go by car as very long queues to get into the car park

Great tour for half a day - Thoroughly enjoyed this half day tour. Michael the guide was very informative and also presented with a lot of humour. Melvig the driver negotiated the difficult roads with accomplishment.
We were picked up on time, swapped busses at Yaiza, and headed to the camel ride. This is optional for ā¬11. The camel ride lasts around 15 minutes, longer than I expected. Total stop here lasted around 40 minutes. If you donāt do the camel ride there is a small museum, cafe and toilets. Next we went to the national park, where the staff showed us three amazing demonstrations, and we drove through the ārestrictedā area for around 30 minutes. This is the highlight of the tour and was stunning to see the land that has laid this way for nearly 300 years since the eruptions. Going by car is not desirable and you will save yourself many hours by going on a tour like this. We then headed to the winery which was fine, but definitely an add-on to the tour. We then headed back, swapping busses again a couple of miles east of Yaiza. We were picked up at 9:25 and dropped off at 14:10. I would recommend this tour to anyone, it gives you a bit of the island away from the tourist areas, but without the intensity of an all day trip where you are shattered by the end of it.

Amazing trip - thoroughly recommended!!! - Amazing trip - thoroughly recommended!!!
Camals - fun but feel a bit sorry for them!
Volcano - spectacular and amazing to get so close!
Wine - interesting to see how vines cultivated but everyone a bit weary by this point...
Tour guide was informative and funny.
Highly recommended and easy to book via Tripadvisor. Checked tours locally and they are the same price and on the whole delivered by the same companies!

Great tour of Timanfaya - Great tour of Timanfaya. I took this tour to avoid the hassle of finding parking at the national park. Plus it was nice to sit and watch the view especially the road around the crater. Michael and Melvin (guide and driver) are very professional!

An enjoyable and highly recommended excursion - A wonderful experience and highly recommended. Our guide, Paul, was excellent, and our driver, Roberto, navigated the challenging route with impressive skill.
Paul provided a range of relevant and interesting information about each part of the trip and he gave us clear timings for each stop.
We were picked up on time. It is about an hour from Costa Teguise to the National Park. The coach was comfortable, air-conditioned and pleasant, with spectacular views, so hardly a chore.
We enjoyed the camel ride. It's short but surprisingly comfortable as the saddles mean you are seated on either side of the camel. The camels are seemingly well cared for. You can pay cash or card for the camel ride but need cash if you want the photo.
The medium dry white wine at the winery was much enjoyed by many people on the coach. There is limited time at each stop for food, which is useful to be aware of.
All in all, worth every penny and a very enjoyable 5.5 hour excursion (we were one of the first stops so early on the route to be collected and virtually last to be dropped off). Highly recommended and really glad we purchased the tour.

Camel šŖš - Really enjoyed the trip but so many pick ups!
When we got to playa carmen there were more!
The coach driver was fab as we drove through the national park down its very narrow roads and we were in a double decker.
Loved the camel ride and the amazing scenery.
Reasonable price as well.
My son and I had a good day and gray communication from the company as we couldnāt find the pick up point

Not a trip for very young children - The tour itself was good, we started in Costa Teguise so were the first ones picked up and last ones dropped off and had to swap coaches in Puerto del Carmen and then again at El Golfo to come back which made it a bit of a longer day (6 hours) but the coaches were comfortable and air conditioned so that wasn't a big issue and we were still back at the hotel by 2.30pm.
The landscape at the national park is absolutely stunning, and we enjoyed the shopping/winery stop to pick up some souvenirs. Our trip didn't include the camel ride but did include a stop at El Golfo for a quick walk up to the lagoon which we enjoyed far more as an opportunity to stretch our legs after being on the bus for so long and having done the camel ride on a previous visit as a kid.
My only gripe with the tour is actually not really something that's easy for the tour company to control and that is that a woman came on the tour with a very young baby who screamed pretty much constantly all the way around the national park tour and a good portion of the way back until we changed coaches. I get that parents want to enjoy what the island has to offer too but with her child so upset and sounding in discomfort its hard to imagine she enjoyed the trip much either and it did ruin it for everyone else who also couldn't hear the commentary of the guide. I do think companies should consider putting age limits on some of their tours although I'm not sure how feasible that would be
