Salt Lake City - Travel north to Salt Lake City and spend the afternoon exploring the history of Utah’s capital city on a self-guided walking tour.

Salt Lake City Tabernacle - Visit the Mormon Tabernacle, home to the world-renowned Mormon Tabernacle Choir. You’ll also see the State Capitol Building and the territorial governor’s mansion of Brigham Young — the founder of Salt Lake City and a leader in the Mormon religion.

Old Faithful - Established in 1872, this vast, untamed park is home to many of the world’s geysers, including Old Faithful. Delight in this famous geyser, which erupts on an impressively regular schedule.

Grand Prismatic Spring - Observe other volcanic features such as hot springs, including the Grand Prismatic Spring, mud pots, and fumaroles.

Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone - Admire the stunning Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, and learn about the natural forces that shaped this region from your guide.

Mammoth Hot Springs - Keep your camera ready for sightings of grizzly bears, wolves, bison, and elk, and visit Mammoth Hot Springs to end your day. After dinner, retire to your campsite.

Yellowstone National Park - Continue exploring Yellowstone with your guide. Embark on hikes ranging from easy to moderate and 2 to 5 miles (3 to 8 km) in length, and see more spectacular volcanic features. Your guide will tailor hikes to your group’s abilities and interests.

Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center - Today, visit Yellowstone’s Grizzly Bear and Wolf Discovery Center (at own expense, approx USD $20) where you will observe these animals and learn about their impact on the Yellowstone ecosystem.

Yellowstone National Park — Rocky Mountains

Bridal Veil Falls - Today, head back to Utah to the Provo River region to enjoy the last night of your tour.

• You may experience both warm and cool temperatures. It is recommended that you pack warm socks, a sweater or hooded jacket (water proof), hiking shoes, plenty of sunscreen, closed-toe shoes and a hat

• Dinners are prepared at the campsite in a communal effort; participation is required
