- St. George - “A stop in St. George, Utah, offers a bathroom break and a chance to enjoy coffee and food. St. George is a rapidly expanding city in southwestern Utah, celebrated for its warm desert climate and stunning red rock landscapes. Situated near Zion National Park, it is a favored destination for outdoor activities like hiking, biking, and golfing. Established by Mormon settlers in the 1860s, St. George has evolved into a lively center for tourism and retirement, with its mild winters making it a year-round favorite.”
- Fredonia - Fredonia, Arizona, was established in 1885 by Mormon settlers as a farming community near Kanab Creek. The town’s name signifies a desire for independence, combining “free” and “don” (meaning gift). Positioned near the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Fredonia acts as a gateway for tourists exploring the region. Although small, with around 1,300 residents, it remains a close-knit, rural town with significant historical roots in the development of the American West.
- Kanab - Kanab, Utah, is a delightful small town known as “Little Hollywood” due to the many classic Western films shot there. It is located near some of the Southwest’s most stunning natural attractions, such as Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Founded by Mormon settlers in 1870, Kanab is now a popular base for outdoor adventures and is also home to the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, a large no-kill animal shelter.
- Antelope Canyon - Few geological formations are as breathtaking and awe-inspiring as Antelope Canyon X, a magnificent slot canyon just east of Page in Northern Arizona. With its towering winding walls, it is a monumental sandstone sculpture. A photographer’s paradise, the canyon is renowned for its wave-like structure and the light beams that shine directly into the canyon’s openings, creating a supernatural effect.
- Page - Lunch break
- Horseshoe Bend - For those seeking an incredible natural view, Horseshoe Bend is a must-see. Its name comes from its unique shape, a horseshoe-shaped meander of the Colorado River located four miles southwest of Page, AZ, within the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area.
