• Las Vegas - As you journey towards Lake Mead, the knowledgeable guide will share fascinating insights about the Mojave Desert and the exciting adventure ahead. The trip includes ample snacks and water for everyone.
• Historic Railroad Hiking Trail - The first stop is a charming hike along the Historic Railroad Tunnel Trail, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Lake Mead. Walk along the path where trains once transported essential materials for the Hoover Dam’s construction. Discover the intriguing history of the railroad that played a crucial role in building the Hoover Dam.

The hike continues until reaching the Lake Mead Overlook, providing a unique view not typically included in other Hoover Dam tours, with fewer crowds (likely just the group will be there).

This trail is mostly flat and spans approximately 4.5 miles.

• Lake Mead Visitor Center - After the hike, there will be a brief visit to the Lake Mead Visitor Center to explore their exhibits and pick up some souvenirs before proceeding to the Hoover Dam.
• Mike O’Callaghan - Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge - Prior to arriving at the Hoover Dam, there will be a walk across the Mike O’Callaghan Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, offering a stunning vantage point of the entire dam. This is a perfect spot for capturing photos of the Hoover Dam.
• Hoover Dam - The tour price includes an official Hoover Dam Power Plant tour conducted by the Bureau of Reclamation, providing an inside look at the dam. This 45-minute guided tour includes a walk through the original construction tunnels, a 10-minute film about the Hoover Dam’s history, and a visit to a viewpoint overlooking a 30-foot (~9.14 meters) diameter penstock, where the vibration from the rushing water can be felt.

Following the power plant tour, there will be an hour to explore the visitor center (included with the power plant tour ticket), gift shop, café, and the Hoover Dam itself. Assistance will be available nearby if needed while exploring one of America’s Seven Modern Civil Engineering Wonders.
