Great tour of Fremont Street - Our group had a very nice tour with a relatively new tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and gave us great insights into places along Fremont Street. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. It was a full two hours. The guide was very good.

History at Fremont - Laurinda was our tour guide. She was very knowledgeable about the history of the Fremont/Downtown area of Las Vegas. I learned alot of interesting things about the area including Block 17. I enjoyed the tour so much that I stuck around the area until well into the evening. The Mob Museum is a must see, which I was able to explore at my own leisure. Laurinda also sent a follow up email with some helpful suggestions on where to go for food and events in Las Vegas. I really enjoyed the tour.

Laurinda was a wonderful tour guide! - We has so much fun learning about the history of this amazing city. Our guide, Laurinda, was an absolute blast and made the tour as entertaining as it was informative. We were thrilled to find that we were the only people booked for our Wednesday morning tour - nothing like the experience of having a private guide to the secrets of the city! The tour was conducted at a perfect pace, not too long in any one area so we were able to cover a lot of ground. Laurinda was engaging and incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the families that made Vegas what it is today. She delighted in showing us the bones of old Vegas - places where the buildings showed their age or had not been completely retrofitted. As others have said, my big regret was not scheduling this tour earlier in our stay. The follow up email she sent with recommendations of places to see and eat st would have been amazing at the start of our trip. Gives us something to look forward too on a future visit. Seriously, book this tour and request Laurinda - you will be very happy you did.

Downtown Fun - We had a great tour with Lorinda. It was just the two of us on the tour and she was really able to show us a lot of the downtown area with a lot of information. She is full of energy and we spent a wonderful two hours with her. She took us inside many of the first hotels/casinos and shared a lot of unknown stories. It is a tour definitely worth taking.

A Highlight of my Vegas trip - I am so happy I did this tour! I hadn't planned to do any sightseeing tours while visiting Las Vegas but I love the downtown area and when I saw this one I knew it would help give me a better sense of the origin of this interesting city in the desert. We poked around the main and side streets and walked through hotels and casinos and were shown things I never would have known to look for. The only thing that could have made this tour better is if we had unlimited time-- The tour guides had so much knowledge and many great stories and made me think of so much more I was curious to know. Their enthusiastic sharing was so uplifting, I'm now interested to see what other tours I can do. Its a great thing to do in the afternoon when there's not much else happening. Learning the history of Vegas and they way they told the stories and how all the characters came into play really brought the city alive for me in a whole different way and helped me appreciate all the unique things about Las Vegas culture. And I got to learn how Vegas became the '9th Island' and began attracting so many people from Hawaii (where I live)!

Even though I am local I found the tour educational and fun! - This was my first time taking a walking tour of Vegas and I loved it! I live in Vegas but love acting like a tourist and was eager to learn new things about the city and I definitely did! Learned about: The old railroad station behind Plaza Hotel The former red light district (block 16) The female real estate investors that started Vegas and got the first gaming licenses Saw the first telephone in Vegas Cultural history Evolution of business in Vegas Got to see parts of Fremont Street that I did not know existed such as parts of former hotels inside Golden Gate Hotel. This is also a great tour for anyone wanting to see the popular Fremont Street Experience light show (even by day), street performers, zip-lining people above, and the classic casinos. Laurinda the tour guide was very enthusiastic and passionate, and I could tell she had much more to say about the city than the 90 min tour allows; She delightfully answered my personal questions as we walked. Bring water, sunscreen, and a camera(phone). I recommend this tour!

No show tour guide - If zero starts were an option, that would be the rating. The tour guide never showed up. We arrived at location at 11:15 for 11:30 tour. At 11:40, began trying to get in contact with someone at TripAdvisor / ViaTour (chat / via phone). After being on hold for 30 minutes, was told tour guide stuck in traffic and arriving in 30 minutes. Another 25 minutes passed and notified the tour guide would arrive in 45 minutes. We bailed and requested a refund. ALSO, note that this does NOT come with Mob Museum entry as stated in details. We were told by customer service to go to Mob Museum and they would email the tickets. The email / tickets never arrived. We paid to get into the museum and told the museum entry was NOT included in tour price as advertised. TripAdvisor / ViaTour owes us for a $40 Uber charge to arrive at the starting location (wasted trip), $69 refund for MOB museum entry and $78 for tour refund. We have used this service before and had success. Unfortunately not this time. 4 days later, still no response / refund.
