Highlight of our trip - I saw this show advertised when I was at the Four Queens years ago. I wanted to see it, but the friend I was in wanted to something with showgirls instead. It took many years, but I finally got to see it this past Friday and it was worth the wait. I love comedy and magic and have been to many comedy and magic shows. Mike Hammer skillfully combines the two and puts on an amazing show. We laughed out loud from beginning to end. The majority of the comedy is improvised with Mike roasting the audience. Mike is fairly gentle and even some of his edgier jokes are delivered in a playful not mean way. Only the most thinned-skinned would get offended at this show. He’s not as family friendly as Mac King, but everything in his act is done in good fun. We saw Russell Peters at the Wynn the following night and all agreed that we laughed as much at Mike Hammer as we did at Russell Peters. Mike seems like a nice guy who spent time meeting with the audience after his show. The family that he took the most shots at during the show was in line to meet him with us after the show and they absolutely loved the show even though a lot of the laughs came at their expense. There is merch available after the show. I bought a shirt and got a picture with Mike Hammer. He also gave my friend’s wife a shot-glass since it was her birthday. His magic was a good fit for the theater. It is not a large venue. I would estimate maybe around 60-80 seats. The illusions were big enough for the audience to see, but don’t go in expecting disappearing tigers. We had seen Shin Lim on a previous trip and while Shin is a talent performer in his own right, his style of magic was not a great fit for the size of theater he performed in. There is a lot of audience participation and due to the size of the theater, anyone could potentially be chosen to participate. My friend got called to help with an illusion and we were sitting in the back row. We had arrived late so the back was all that was available, but we still saw everything and Mike did a few portions of his act in the middle of the room. Don’t be put off by the downtown location or the small venue. This is absolutely one of the best shows in Las Vegas for anyone, but the very young or the very thin-skinned. We followed the show with a very nice dinner at Hugo’s Cellar. It was a great night.

Get Hammer'd On Fremont Street - Mike Hammer's show was perfect. He comes out energetic and never stops. I was in the area on business and came to the show with three work colleagues and Hammer's show was nonstop laughing, great magic, and audience interaction. I don't think there was a table he didn't touch. He is witty, quick, and able to engage an audience from the word Go. You can pay a lot more for a show on the Las Vegas Strip or you can come to a fun show where you are part of the show. In a world of Las Vegas copycats, Mike Hammer is a fresh watermelon in the summer and his show is going to satisfy. Go see Mike today.

A fun Night out. - Enjoyed the show. Small venue reasonably priced. Lot's of audience interaction. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. Our group was referred to in the show as the church ladies. It stuck for the rest of the trip.

Fantastic show/great value - Bought tickets to see Mike’s show after reading all of the great reviews and let me tell ya: he did not disappoint. He was quick, hilarious and knew how to work the crowd. There wasn’t a dull moment. He even got some of the most serious looking audience members to crack a smile. Would definitely recommend this show to anyone I know who is going to Vegas.

Go if you don't have anything else to do - Not the best show. Found it to be quite boring. Not much magic. The show is more about a person interacting with an audience. Think of it more as a budget friendly opening act.
