GREAT TIME with JIM on our Foodie Tour – who was the PERFECT GUIDE! - We had GREAT TIME with JIM on our Foodie Tour – who was the PERFECT GUIDE! He gave us very informative information – about “everything” Las Vegas! We really learned a lot of history about how this "little" city was formed – and how it all works together today. The FOOD was OUTSTANDING & ohhhhh soooooo filling! (We had to take some back to our hotel!) We LOVED ALL of the restaurants on our Foodie Tour! And it was very special to walk into a restaurant, directly to a “Reserved” table – and your food shows up in 1 minute! And if you are like us – new to Las Vegas – you’ll have your eyes opened widely as you walk down Fremont Street with Jim! (Ya must see it yourself -- we won’t spoil the surprises!)

3 out of 5 for me - I took the Downtown Delights Foodie Tour on Thursday, February 22 2024 @ 5:00pm. This was my second Taste Buzz Tour in less than a year. This tour explored the Fremont East District. The food was better than the food on the Arts District Tour’s (which I had taken in October 2023), but I liked the guide and the historic information on the Arts District tour more than I did on this one. As mentioned in an older review, the guide for this downtown one had a bad personality, and she was rude to several people right at the start of the tour, which also “colored our enjoyment”. I wonder if this is the same woman from both reviews. It is interesting that we had the same experience. Anyway, as the tour progressed, she mentioned casually that she had had a rough day before arriving - something with her car - but that doesn’t negate the fact that she was rude to us right at the start and it set the tone for the evening. Taste Buzz is a small, local, and female-owned business so I am happy to have shown support. If my budget only allowed for me to choose between the Arts District Tour or the Downtown Tour I would have to consider what I wanted to get out of the tour. If my goal was some really good food I would go with the Downtown Tour. If fun and historic information were my primary goal for the outing then I would choose the Arts District tour. Hope this helps!
