The Origen Museum houses over 75 static exhibits, among them the engaging Flashflood exhibit and habitats for live animals, as well as temporary exhibits that rotate annually, ensuring a unique experience with each visit.
Venture through the Preserve’s extensive 3.7-mile trail network, tracing the paths of ancient inhabitants and bold frontiersmen, and navigate through its 110 acres (44 hectares) of native ecosystems and historical sites. Explore our playgrounds, the Botanical Garden, DesertSol; a self-sustaining house designed by UNLV’s 2013 Solar Decathlon Team or visit the Butterfly House (weather-dependent). Travel on our Trackless Train and discover Las Vegas’s past in Boomtown 1905 and along the entire route.
