Then, transfer by company minivans to the takeoff place.
You will be involved in the preparation of the balloon for the ride: unpacking the balloon, preparing the basket, inflating the balloon with cold and then hot air.

Lassithi Plateau - At the appointed time, you will meet
«VIVA let’s fly» team near the Lassithi plateau.
Then, transfer by company minivans to the takeoff place.
You will be involved in the preparation of the balloon for the ride: unpacking the balloon, preparing the basket, inflating the balloon with cold and then hot air.
Shortly before the takeoff, our pilots will make a safety briefing.
As soon as the balloon is upright, the pilots will invite you to the basket for the takeoff.
Flight duration is 40 minutes to 1 hour. Of course, under certain weather conditions, this time can change both to shorter or longer.
After landing, you and the pilots deflate the balloon and pack it back into the trailer.
When the balloon and its parts are packed, you celebrate the flight with a glass of sparkling champagne.
This tradition is an essential part of hot air balloon ride! -
Lassithi Plateau - Second part of your journey is is a delicious authentic breakfast in a Cretan tavern.
Fresh orange juice, coffee and various snacks will further
«rise» you up!
From the VIVA company you will receive memorable souvenirs and the pilots will issue certificates confirming your flight.
After the brunch our team will bring you to the initial meeting point.

Wonderful experience - My husband and I did the air balloon over Crete. It was awesome . There were six off us in the basket. It was a beautiful day , sun and no wind . Our pilot Serghei and George were so friendly. Serghei explained everything to us from beginning to end . They took photos from beginning to end and sent them to us after the flight . We were picked up from the hotel and back . Breakfast was very nice too. Serghei is a great pilot cause he made the flight so smooth that you didn’t feel like you were in an air balloon .

Ballon experience with amazing views - Had a great experience in an amazing location. We have never done anything like this before and were made to feel very comfortable and safe during the whole experience.
The setup of the balloon was as much a part of it as the flight and was impressive to see and be a part of.
The flight was great giving 360 panoramic views over the plains and beyond out to sea.
George the crew member and Nerjus our pilot were so nice and professional throughout.
The breakfast location was stunning and a great finish to the experience.

Crete from the air - It was a fascinating experience with a group of enthusiastic balloonists that made it fun and kept us all safe too. I would definitely recommend signing up for this excursion.

Top of the page - The experience was very friendly and sensational. We appreciated the originality of this excursion. The scenery was amazing. Sincerely, this experience must be done. Breakfast offered in a beautiful setting. And special mention for the team that received us, they are adorable. ❤️

Fabulous experience ! - Absolutely amazing experience - and brilliantly managed. Highly recommended - friendly and professional team. Collected us from the hotel, great breakfast afterwards, and then returned us back to the hotel - a very special experience.

Fantastic experience. Highly recommended! - Today with the family a balloon ride over the interior of Crete. A fantastic experience! In addition to the flight with breathtaking views, it was also very nice to be involved in the construction and dismantling of the balloon. And as icing on the cake, the driver turned out to be an excellent DJ with Italian top performers.

Enjoyment blown - Great, unprecedented experience. Enjoyed the good service. Nice view over the country and good info. Got nice hats at the end, they are very comfortable. Were also nice against the sun. Definitely recommended

A smooth flight over the beautiful Lassithi Plateau - I didn’t know that I could fly on a hot air balloon in Crete until a find Viva Let’s Fly.
The flight above the beautiful Lassithi Plateau was very gentle and relaxing.
If you’ve never rode a hot air balloon before it’s a great opportunity. Even if you’re a scare of heights it can be a chance to overcome it.
Let’s Fly team is very friendly and we had a lot of fun helping them to deflate the balloon.

Nice view but little info - Ballooning used to be different, had to get up early but was a nice experience. The guides were very nice, but unfortunately not very communicative during the balloon ride. Was still early in the morning.
