You will fish at a beautiful river or lake that is within approx. 1 hour drive from Reykjavik city. The main species of fish here are arctic Char and Brown trout. Our guides will help you and show you the best tactic to hook a nice char or brown trout. You can fish with with fly, spinner or bait. Tour duration is approx. 8-9 hours. After the tour, we can send you some pictures as a souvenir from the day.

Best Fly Fishing trip come to life - We booked an amazing 2 day guided fly fishing trip with Anglers. It was beyond our expectations. Anton, our fishing guide really knew his rivers and the fish. Fly fishing In iceland 2024. - After my wife surprised me for my 40th birthday last year with a trip to Iceland flyfishing. I booked my trip with anglers.is for this year almost to the day.
I was more than Impressed with the days fishing i had with myself and my 12 year old son. Our guide Unnur was only outstanding she helped us so much throughout the day.we lost some fish but caught more than we lost. With some very nice fish landed.

Excellent fishing trip with Anglers.is - Excellent five day fly fishing trip to Iceland with Kristinn Ingolfsson and Anglers.is. I wanted part guided and part unguided, which is what we did. Kristinn was an excellent, patient guide, and varied the program even at short notice to provide the best fishing, and the type of locations I preferred. Excellent communication throughout the planning, and great choice of accommodation. Great local knowledge. I would definitely recommend.

ICELAND FISHING ADVENTURES - We were on a 10 day tour of Iceland. We had to get everything in as much as we could and me being an avid fisherman had to book a one day adventure. We hit the jackpot with our guide Kristinn. He picked us up at our hotel in Reykjavik and took us to a private location. It was a rainy windy day on and off and we still smashed arctic char and brown trout. I highly recommend them and just wished I had more time to fish with him. Blessings

World-class fishing - We had a really great time! Between the two of us, we caught over 20 fish while fly fishing. We were well taken care of, and I'd rate this as one of the top fishing experiences I've ever experienced. Thanks for the awesome trip!

Fantastic Fishing with Anglers - Great experience both times I went (once on Lake Laugarvatn and once on river Sog). Caught countless char and even some brown trout. Both places were beautiful settings. I fished with Kristinn. He is a great guide - super patient and gives great tips and suggestions. I saw Anton at work with his clients and he was also a great guide. Both are engaging conversationalists whether it is about fly fishing, Iceland or anything you want to talk about.
Anglers has all the gear and flies you need and they pick you up and drop you off from you lodging. They are super responsive to emails, texts and calls.
Can't recommend these guys more. I will be fishing again with them soon.

Fabulous fly fishing - Kristinn is an excellent guide and runs a well-organised operation with 10-12 guides. His team has a particular concern for responsible fishing and the welfare of the fish. During our three day visit he introduced us to three different rivers (narrow stream, broad stream and lake estuary) and guided us to the best runs for brown trout and arctic char. He delivered spectacular results and we achieved personal records. His planning was excellent, with some flexibity so that if one beat was not productive (as happened at the beginning of our third day), he was able to move us to another nearby. He arranged our hotels, with pick up and drop off each day, and all necessary tackle. Very efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. We want to return. Highly recommended.

A highly productive and enjoyable fishing experience! - My son and I went brown trout/arctic char fishing on Lake Laugarvatn and had a truly wonderful experience. Our guide Anton was great company throughout and his local knowledge and fishing skills soon had us catching fish. We caught six fish during the day and two very satisfied anglers were left back to our hotel after a memorable day out. Highly recommended.

Great guide, so so fishing and equipment, and $1000 US for 6 hours of fishing char? - It's a lot to spend for what you get especially when not salmon fishing. My price did not include pick up since I was camping in the area.
Strengths: Guide was great with clients, coaching, education, and spotting fish
Average: Equipment was fine but not exceptional ie. Redington not Sage, Orvis, Winston, Simms etc.
Weaknesses: 6 hours fishing for almost $1000 US for char? Actual fishing time was 9AM-3PM. Communication for guide service was poor. Had to keep reaching out to get info on what, where, and when on the trip. Underwhelming for the price. Maybe owner or admin has too many guides to handle.
