What an Amazing Tour!!! - Wow! What an amazing experience! The tour began the moment we boarded the van as our guide, Michael, provided history, descriptions, and explanations about the locale, the people, and the landscape. Traveling along the famous Route 66 should be on everyone's dream list! The drive to the bottom of the Canyon was an adventure itself. The rock formations and scenery were breathtaking. Michael was a careful driver as the road was very bumpy. He made the ride as smooth and comfortable as possible. Once we reached the bottom, we have sufficient time for photos. I had seen the Canyon from the rim, but the views from the bottom were incredible! When we returned from the bottom, we lunched at a restaurant on the reservation and enjoyed food reflective of the culture. All aspects of the day were flawless and I would rate this tour A+++!!

A Truly Amazing Experience - Since we had all seen the Grand Canyon from above, we opted for the Journey to the Bottom tour and are so glad we did! One-el Wil was our tour guide and we had the best time with him! Wil is very knowledgeable about the history of the area and was so personable and friendly that we felt like he was part of our family by the end of the trip. I can't say enough about the views as we descended into the canyon. We were surrounded by the most interesting rock formations and plants. Once you reach the bottom and see the Colorado River and the canyon above you, it is truly breathtaking. Lunch on the Hualapai Reservation was very good (make sure you get their fry bread) and Hackney's was a cool place to get pictures and see the inspiration for Radiator Springs. I would definitely recommend this trip for a different perspective of The Grand Canyon and enjoyable day.

Beautiful views - Fantastic trip! Mike was very knowledgeable about area and was a great tour guide. It is bumpy going down the grated dirt road to the bottom, so be aware. It is still better than riding a donkey.

Grand Canyon - Great trip to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. Bumpy road, but great views. Advise you dress comfortable and for the outdoors. You can walk some narrow pathways at the bottom, watchout for the cactus.
