Was expecting interesting cruise but got lots out of this - recommended - The promised morning tea and light lunch were really good and generous. Was expecting a few iced vovos and arrowroot bickies, limp lettuce sandwiches etc but got generous muffins fresh baked, fruit cake, and generous bread rolls with salad. And different fillings. Some veg noted for those who preordered. Fruit and different local cheeses, brie orangey sharp cheddar a soft fruit! Cheese and straw S, pineapple, kiwi, grapes, melon etc. Enough for all and some left over. The wine/beer tasting was hohum, 2 whites a bland sof red and a Tassie beer. Ok but why not a white a Pinot and a Shiraz or cab Dav. The cruise and eg cataract gorge plus commentary were great. 4 hours was enough. Recommended

Excellent Tamar River cruise. - Our 4 hr morning cruise was canceled and a 2 and a half hour cruise was substituted. According to the Tamar cruise company they have a maintainance issues that needs to be done. The office just refunded me some money before we boarded. The staff and crew's are very polite and professional. We thoroughly enjoyed the cruise experience. The cruise started on time and we had a very good commentary. The afternoon tea was sufficient. The food was excellent Lisa looked after us very well. We recommend this cruise to all to experience.

Fascinating, Educational and informative River Cruise - We thoroughly enjoyed our time on this river cruise, seeing the sights and learning some interesting facts and insights into the river and surrounds, the Captain and crew were very helpful and always welcoming, there was more than enough to eat from muffins for morning tea to Focaccia sandwiches for lunch followed be a cheese and fruit platter after, there was even a mini wine tasting, tea and coffee was included throughout and cold drinks and alcoholic were available as an extra, we would thoroughly recommend this river cruise.

Relaxing and informative cruise - Hi all, I have just completed my 4 hour luncheon batman bridge cruise and I am so pleased to let yall know I had a thoroughly relaxing and informative cruise, our captain, Mr Callum is so kind and patient and let us know many little interesting facts about tamar valley, my only knowledge of tamar valley is the delicious yoghurt that our country imports:)), so when Mr Callum tell us interesting facts like who is who *, the famous environmentalist Peter Cundall, and the NZ actress Rebecca Gibney, used to reside in Tamar valley, we find very interesting indeed! The wildlife is also spectacular, like the white bellied goshask n pelicans in their very natural habitat, all in all, every penny will be worth it because, wine tasting n beer tasting and the gorgeous spread of lunch platter, makes it very wonderful experience, I like to extend my heartfelt thanks to The captain, JJ and team, for this memorable experience through the tamar valley, bridges, cataract gorge and the wildlife that you can spot along the cruise!

Sit back and Enjoy! - The boat was well laid out and comfortable. Callum gave an informative commentary sprinkled with fun facts. The two other staff on board were friendly and attentive, and kept the brewed coffee topped up! Morning tea and lunch were great. A lovely way to spend 4 hours!

Great crew , easy... - Great crew , easy booking, and parking , the capttain was fountain of information, yet the conversation seemed more about the value if property and very little or nothing about the indigenous peoples.

Thoroughly enjoyable - Awesome way to see parts of Tasmania. Lisa was working non stop and ensured everyone was catered to, Callum our captain was a fountain of knowledge, could not have asked for a more informative guide. Well worth it in our opinion.

Disorganised, overcrowded, expensive. - This tour was: • disorganised. Our ticket gave the Launceston Tennis Club as the meeting point prior to departure. I did not receive a response to my email of the previous day until after we had set out for the meeting point. When we rushed to the correct meeting place after receiving an SMS from the tour operator, no apology was offered. • overcrowded. Due to overbooking some passengers had to stand for the duration of the cruise - four hours. • activities. The wine tasting is not informative but only an excuse for a few drinks. Lunch is a pile of sandwiches although some passengers did receive their requested optional meals. Save your money and only go on a short cruise which includes the impressive Cataract Gorge and the Batman Bridge.
