Relaxing cruise with great view and commentary - and Tasmanian wine and beer! - My partner and I had an amazing time on the Afternoon Discovery Cruise along the Tamar River! It was such a relaxing and enjoyable experience, made even better by the beautiful Tasmanian wine and beer served on board. A huge shoutout to Callum and JJ, who were excellent captain and hosts throughout the cruise. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and had a great time. Their passion for the area really shone through, and it added so much to the overall experience. The views along the Tamar River were stunning, and the whole experience was the perfect way to spend an afternoon in Launceston. Highly recommend this cruise to anyone visiting Tasmania – it’s a must-do!

Leisurely cruise - Leisurely cruise along the Tamar River with my sister on a beautiful sunny morning . Lovely morning tea , a very athletic lady (lisa ?) up and down the narrow stairs with muffins , fruit , coffee pots and hot water . I would have liked a bit more commentary on passing sights , admittedly the captain was being earbashed by a couple of passengers for quite a while ! Very relaxing 2.5 hours .

A must when in Launceston - Excellent trip. Captain and crew were very nice and gave excellent commentary without overloading. Boat was clean and comfortable. Lovely service with a wine tasting and afternoon tea. Would highly recommend when in Launceston. (The wine was pretty average but, hey, it's a very nice touch).

Relaxing and Informative - From the ease of making a booking to the cruise itself was very satisfactory. The captain Lynn was a font of knowledge regarding the Tamar Estuary, the history of the river and surroundings. Laura his assistant was friendly providing us with some tasty food and wine samples during the cruise. Most relaxing and informative.

Disappointed - Discovery 2 we was told by TUI let us pick your cabin worst thing we ever done we was put at the back of the ship only one cabin was further away not only that all the cabins were family ones with children we are both 70 plus the cabin was not up to scratch the sheets was soiled and not fresh had to complain to the cabin staff to have them replaced the balcony was rust everywhere the shower had mould on the shower curtain and the whole suite was very tired and outdated we was also told that our balcony will be cleaned what they did not inform us was that when washed the balcony all the stuff from the balcony next to us will be left on our balcony not very pleased hair a dirt left on our balcony when we come back to our cabin this so-called deluxe cabin but there was no deluxe in the cabin so my cabin was missed represented I have the pictures and the state of my cabin this is our fourth Cruise with TUI and we are very disappointment and could be our last
