Don't miss this!!! - Great experience for tourist and locals. The beautiful boat, the views and great lunch and excellent service. Great food and excellent professional service!!! I live locally and enjoy a weekly cruise on the lovely lake boats. This past Saturday I had brunch on La Suisse, Roberto and Guillaume were our waiters; they were very accommodating, attentive and professional. Yesterday I had lunch with 3 guests on La Suisse. We were greeted by Roman, the Dining manager. He is a top notch, CGN professional. He seated us and ran the dining room with the care and attention to detail as a captain steers a ship. We were there for a 4 hour cruise and he was ever present and orchestrated his team in the most Swiss perfect, professional manner. He and our server, impeccably dressed, were so impressive. Two of my guest were elderly and handicapped, celebrating there 65th wedding anniversary and Paula our server made the experience so pleasurable for all of us. Attention to detail, professional and personable. Thank you CGN!!! Essie Groux

A pleasure for the eyes, relaxing and informative - Pleasant cruise, which gives a different view of the region, vineyards, architecture, mountains. Pleasant walk in the sun. We liked it.

Take the tour but forget the “first class” ticket - We booked 2 first class tickets at a cost of around €150 which should include a greeter but didn’t. Made our own way upstairs and left to our own devices. I know it says no food or drinks but for that price I would expect a complimentary glass of champagne at the very least. Tour was great but to be honest you would see just as much on the level below for a fraction of the price. To sum up, take the tour but just buy a normal ticket 😉

Boat great; restaurant TERRIBLE! - The "Croisiere Gourmande" from Ouchy has been a favorite of ours for many years. The boat "Suisse" is really beautiful and the CGN staff are wonderful. We have enjoyed many delicious lunches on board. Until recently the splurge of a premium-priced travel and meal was worth the cost. But not anymore. The catering is to be AVOIDED! Since the Cafe Leman took over the catering, it has been a disaster. We had lunch in the first class dining room once last fall and again a few weeks ago and both times service was extremely slow, food received was not as described - and was somehow both over-cooked and cold, did not receive dessert, and the staff still demand payment. Food is better in economy class flights! We won't be making the same mistake again! CGN - Please get a new catering company!

Overcrowded, uncomfortable and a waste of money - We booked 1st class tickets and there wasn’t even anywhere to sit down. No refreshments either unless you’d reserved a table in the restaurant. Small toilets on the second class deck. This trip takes the best part of two hours, and with small children having no place to sit and no refreshments is no joke. They’d clearly sold far too many tickets for the size of the boat. There were people, like us, with babies and young children who couldn’t get a seat, as well as older people. When we realised we’d just be standing up for two hours watching the lucky few in the restaurant get wined and dined, we decided to write off the cost of our overpriced “first class” tickets and got straight back off the boat in Lausanne . Diabolical, avoid like the plague.

Not what expected, choice... - Not what expected, choice was not given for first class of second class, would have paid more to sit upstairs. Too many stops, waste of three hrs.
