The view and adventure platform at 3454 meters above sea level unites in a place that fascinates people of the Alps: a majestic backdrop of ice, snow and rock with breathtaking far-sightedness.
Once at the top, Icy air streams across your face, snow crunches under your feet, and the view nearly takes your breath away: on one side the view of the Mittelland up to the Vosges, on the other the Aletsch glacier, bordered by four thousand meter peaks. There are also great shops, restaurants and the Lindt Swiss Chocolate Heaven.
The Jungfrau-Aletsch Region was chosen as the first Alpine UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site in 2001.

Super experience and super nice view - Is a huge experience to get up on top and enjoy the beautiful views. However, is in no way cheap, so rain with about kr. 2,000 per person. Try to get outside the normal tourist hours as there may be a lot of tourists here, so book tickets in good time and not on the day. You decide yourself if you take the train or cable car to the road up there. The last train ride takes place inside the mountain, so not much to see it. Is in control all the way, so can only recommend a trip here.

Genial - It's true a great day trip, in great weather.
The infrastructure, trains are incredibly modern. Very pleasant.
Nostalgia was missing. But everything was well organized, even when eating, unfortunately the food did not taste quite, but yes, it was a matter of taste.
Without moving much, we were on the Jungfraujoch.

The top of Europe is a must-see place in Switzerland - Incredible experience starting from the access by train and cable car, glimpse beautiful landscapes. The structure there on top is very good with access to the ice palace where beautiful sculptures were exposed, very careful in walking through this attraction because the floor being ice slides a lot. True cold environment requiring warm clothes and gloves.

Beautiful view with bland taste - Solving the ticket on the Internet is already a challenge. The seat reservation did not work out as expected either
The arrival at the Eiger Express was great. Spacious parking garage. Slightly overwhelmed at check-in as the tickets are very poorly labeled. However, very nice help. Thank God it didn't have very many people to ask.
The change from the gondola to the railway worked very well. Redeeming the reserved seat also worked here.
Once at the top we enjoyed almost everything you could do (3 hours) in the nicest sunshine. Stay) Unfortunately, the food is very expensive. And the price/performance is not right at all. A cup of Ovomaltine only well two thirds filled (about 2 dl) cost CHF 5.- this is very cheeky.
On the way home, no one was interested in the ticket for the reserved seats. If you're lucky, it works.
The kindness of the staff varies from extremely friendly to "leave me alone" this is a great pity.
We were glad that we could go up with the Coop vouchers for half the price because the normal price of CHF 201.- is not worth it. Even if the view is beautiful.

Bad - Ststion Eigergletscher unkindly treated in English have valued us and said the Oberländer schönnä Dütsch...Residualsurant all frozen food really overpriced ...kes Grüesech....Swiss not welcome.Only conductive use very frigid.

Dodgy - Dodgy
I wanted to finally fulfill my wife and son (6 years) wish to finally show the mountains and access routes that I have been able to climb and enjoy many times alone and as a guide of rope teams.
Unfortunately, we - and a three-rope team following us - were denied access to the Mönchsjochhütte on the Pistenbully-tracked (clefts filled with snow) "motorway" with the argument "otherwise the Asians could follow" (original quote).
What's wrong?
For thirty years, I have always selected my tours on the basis of a risk analysis - and now a BAN because otherwise other consequences could?
A BAN (with subsequent closing of the grid) in the Alps, pronounced by personnel who - according to their own statements, have never stood on one of these mountains, nor have they themselves produced a risk analysis?
The train carts small japping dogs (which even downstairs can't breathe), screaming infants (not 6 weeks old !) - observed on 3.11.24 again - to this height, but does not allow the independent access to the mountains - BECAUSE OTHERS COULD FOLLOW ?
Are we cattle, kept in enclosed spaces on the yoke, encouraged solely to consume overpriced goods?
I will take these tours from Jungfraujoch out of my program and no longer participate in this circus (Einsiedeln family, Swiss)
