There are fabric shops and carpet vendors and sellers of just about anything you might desire. If you cannot find what you are looking for, do not hesitate to ask a vendor because there is a good chance they will know where to find it.
Even if you are not looking to buy, taking a walk through the winding alleys of this labyrinthine district, you are sure to find something that will catch your eye.

Worth of tour. nice and safe. - Great time spent in Cairo with very good and very friendly guide. Abdul and Ebrahim both guys are so good at their work you can feel safe with them. Even you travel solo.

Informative, personable, and smooth - We toured Old Cairo, Hanging Church, Egyptian Museum, and the Citadel with Marco. We learned so much from Marco. He is like a walking encyclopedia. I have never met a tour guide who says you cab ask him about “any object “ in the museum (and we did) and tell you everything about it. Marco was so kind, didn’t put any pressure on you in terms of anything feeling like a sales pitch, gave you options, treated us to yummy date crackers, and genuinely tried to maximize our time. Hesham was our driver who graciously braved the Cairo traffic back and forth between sites to accommodate us. Hesham is a safe driver, punctual, and funny. Their communication is clear and they work together as a great team. The duo went above and beyond even after the tour was over. They asked if we wanted to see anything else. We were able to see the Rock Church after paying some additional fees to the company! We were so grateful because it was such a long day already. Incredible experience. Thank you again for everything!

A great day tour to see the main highlights - Marco is a fantastic guide who is friendly and knowledgeable. He looks after our group so well and showed us the hidden gems. It seems like everyone in the museum knows him! Go on a tour with Marco and you won't regret it :)

WHAT A DAY! - The views and the whole trip with Marco was amazing! We saw and learned so many things about Egypt. Marco took us to special places and showed us the best things, he took us to places not everyone will find in Egypt. If you’re looking for an authentic and beautiful trip in Egypt. Book him! You’ll love it as much as we do.

Great experience. Marco (tour guide) was exceptional! - I'm so happy that we picked this tour! Marco (our guide) was nothing short of exceptional. He was extremely knowledgable, thoughtful, and generous with his time and attention. Marco adjusted on the fly the plan to our interests and shown some spots I did not know existed or were open to tourists. Since I've been to Cairo before, I was a bit apprehensive of the level harassment by street sellers, but this trip was different and I credit that to Marco. Overall, great experience!

Work Hard Play Hard - My coworkers and I had a great time touring the Pyramids and learning about the Egyptian culture while there for work. We booked a tour through Deluxe Tours and were guided by an amazing tour guide named Ebrahim! I highly recommend that you take this tour when visiting Egypt, you will not be disappointed!

Poor - Apart from the majestic landscapes, we had a guide who tried to make money from us under the pretext of monetizing a carriage trip (they asked us 1200 Egyptian pounds. I refused, taking care to negotiate the price at 400 pounds; a fast food lunch not exceeding 3€ per person; and finally CLEOPATRA located 3 centuries BC 🤔 It's never worth more than 200€... I wouldn't have paid half. So not great at all ...
