Great Tour/Horrible Booking Experience - Great way to see an overview of Nice especially when your time is limited. However, the online booking via Viatour proved to be a nightmare as the driver couldn’t find a record of our payment. The bus driver was incredibly kind to rectify the problem even though he had to make several trips up to our seats to confirm our payment.

Rotten - Not easy to find the starting point (look for the ugliest “artwork” on the beach) and other vital info about this tour. All right with the sightseeing tour itself. Nice to see large parts of the city (which is very large in scope) except for the very core which is best on foot.

Easy way to see Nice and enjoy a bit of sunshine - We did the whole tour without hopping on or off! It was a nice way to get out to see somewhere beyond Nice. The little snippets of information as you travel were interesting. ( very similar to the train commentary!)

Disappointing for the price. - Great trip if you can find the bus stops. Not one of them was labelled up with the name or number on the map. They were just regular bus stops. No timetables at the bus stops either. If you got on at any stop other than number 1, you had to get off the bus for approx 40 mins before you could continue the tour. Not good for children. Not good value for money at all.

Just ok - Gets your around Nice and out to Villefrance-sur-mer. We were 2 adults and 2 12 year olds. The cost for us was 90euro - these tickets were bought on the bus as the sign says. It is most definitely NOT worth 90 euros. You do get a set of headphones which can be plugged into give you a little insight as you travel round. The complete trip takes just over an hour if you don’t hop off. So the cost for me was a little steep. 11 and u see is 8 euros each, 12 year olds were 21euros each. Had I have known then yes my 12 year olds would have been 11! Not really worth it.

Nice HOHO Bus Tour - Certainly not grande - Never on time and left us stranded at the Port when it didn't stop. We had to find our own back (and pay) to the airport area.

First time and Never again - It was very difficult getting the busdriver to believe that we had prepaid the tickets Even when we showed him the confirmation. He made a phonecall to his boss, and when he heard it was the company Viator he just sighed and said NO! An further: the bus stops were not marked and difficult to find.

Look for Small Sign on No Parking Street Sign Near Opera House for 1st Stop Pickup - 1st -it took great effort to locate bus signage for boarding. Le Grand sticker is place on a “No Parking” sign. Very challenging to find. Once bus arrives. The driver places a large sign. Too late for people that arrive a location and unsure we’re in the right place. It was a scavenger hunt. 2nd Unable to ever reach a live person to clarify 1st stop time. Information on website notes 10:00a.m., and phone recording notes the same. However, the driver indicated, March is off season and 1st pickup is at 11:00. If that’s the case, please update recording and website. 3rd The bus ride itself was fast. 60 minutes versus 90 minutes. Two stars due to frustration with time and location. Do better providing this information unless, “We don’t Care” is the motto.

Ripped off by French transport police. - Tried to get on the bus, but was full so got on and was unable to get to scanning machine, already bought pre paid card as requested. Was unable to get to the machine as it was full, would scan when able, French transport police got on the bus and queries a French couple who have had the same problem, they leed them to a scanner and let them scan their card. We explain we had the same problem and are told we are breaking the law and are fined €40 each, and removed from the bus. Absolutely disgusting, treated like a criminal.

Couldn't catch the bus to use the tickets - Unfortunately we saw the bus drive past but weren't able to catch it as it was unclear on the booking where any of the stops are. On other hop on hop off bus tours we have been on there are usually a few of the main stops listed so you have a starting point
