Amazing views, superb guide - 100% recommend. The views are incredible and the early start absolutely worth it. Bryn was a spectacular guide, so knowledgable about the history, geography and wildlife of the area as well as having our safety as his primary concern at all times. He carefully guided us up the tricky parts (would not recommend this without a proper guide) and remained thoughtful of all group members throughout the hike. Thank you Bryn!

Spectacular experience - Fab experience! Highly recommend booking with Bryn and explorersmauritius.com. He’s on the mountain twice a day, every day, so knows the route intimately. The 6am start was worth it for the sunrise and to avoid the blistering mid morning heat. Very nervous and inexperienced climber but Bryn will safely talk you through getting up to the top - and getting down again, which can be more challenging.
You’ll find unofficial guides who’ll take risks and bring you through closed trails / broken fences. Not worth it when your insurance will be invalidated. Go with someone who’ll get you there and back safely, with spectacular photos, and a wealth of information about the location.
Spent the rest of the holiday on the beach with a cocktail because of the warm glow of achievement!

Just amazing - a great start the holiday! - This was an amazing experience. Bryn (the guide) was super friendly and professional. He gave us the explication we needed to get on the top the mountain and some extra information during the climb.
I would advice everyone to take the tour with this guide so he can explain the dangers and guide you through the climb. Don’t go alone the first time!
He was so helpfull.
Even if I come back to Mauritius I would book this tour again.

Unforgettable Experience with a Top-Notch Guide and Stunning Views - Bryn was an exceptional guide , engaging, humorous, and a true motivator who ensured our safety throughout the journey.
We met at 6:00 AM, and while I initially thought it was too early, it turned out to be the perfect timing. We were able to witness a breathtaking sunrise, and we completed the hiking just before the heat became overwhelming.
Our group was small, just six people, and Bryn gave each of us personal attention, ensuring that everyone reached the destination safely and comfortably.

Amazing guided hike - Absolutely incredible experience! Reading the reviews online before we went had me absolutely terrified but with a guide you can definitely do this hike. If at any point you are too nervous to continue our guide definitely encouraged us to stop and you could be picked up on the way back but our whole group made it to the top!
My partner and I hike a few times a year but usually mountain trails, nothing too crazy or technical and so this was certainly the most challenging hike we have done but we felt very safe because we were with our amazing guide Bryn.
If you are going to do this hike you absolutely want to do it with a trained guide because the second half is really challenging. Having Bryn there to teach us technique and, at times, even tell us exactly where to place our hands and feet was the difference between having an enjoyable hike and being terrified. You definitely still need to be mindful and careful even with a guide but it truly made the experience really amazing.
The other bonus is that Bryn takes amazing photos of everyone throughout the hike and videos as well so you have a great record of your hike!

Trekking with spectacular views! - Bryn was very kind, super helpful and very prepared. We participated in the trekking of le Morne Unesco and it was beautiful. Some complicated sections, especially downhill, but slowly we all managed to complete the route. The view from above pays off all the effort!

Towards the sun - Bryn was an excellent guide and motivator who led us safely to our destination before sunrise and before the ascent of all other hikers.
It was the right decision to climb Le Morne Brabant in a nice, small group with valuable climbing tips.

Great, Great Great experience!! - Bryn our guide and company owner made the trip and climbing to our Top 1 experience on Mauritius!
His professional take on everything combined with cultural, wildlife and personal stories made the trip amazing.
Even our two sons on the age of 6 and 7 made it through because of his guidance and motivation along the path. Thet were SO proud as we reach the tin - and enjoyd the truck ride on dirt roads as well:)
All together time and money well spend- knowing that our contribution helps to protect the wildlife and envirement on that other parts of the Island.

Le Morne - Worth the Early Start x100 - One of the highlights of our stay in Mauritius - stunning views not just from the top but all the way up, and the climb itself was also so much fun.
Our guide, Bryn, who had clearly done the trek thousands of times, knew every inch of the route and was super knowledgable about all of the amazing ecology and history of the area. It could be a challenging climb for beginners like us without his knowledge of the route, but he made us feel as ease. Not to mention his incredible photography all the way up and down, his eye for the wildlife - deer, lizards, monkeys if you’re lucky - (plus unlimited patience to showcase it for us), but also his impressive ability to predict the conditions to maximise our enjoyment. He’s genuinely the nicest bloke you’ll ever meet as well.
We’d strongly recommend this to anyone wanting to make the most of this stunning mountain safely and with respect for the critical conservation taking place to protect it’s natural beauty.
