Must do Tour with the best guides! - Hiking Le Morne is definitely a must whilst being in Mauritius! I‘d highly recommend to not do it alone but with a guide like Kevin & Ravi for our group because of the very challenging ‚climbing‘ part of the hike. They are very experienced and will guide you through every step you have to take to reach the top where you will be rewarded with the most amazing views.

Amazing - Fully recommended. We leave early in the morning with fronts to see the sunrise. The first part is hiking with front and then , already with light begins the climb to the top to see the sunrise!! Impressive❤️

Absolute highlight - This trip was our absolute highlight. The weather was perfect so we could experience a beautiful sunrise. The hike was also suitable for Beginners and the climbing sections were very easy to do with the help of the guide. I would recommend this hike to anyone who wants to experience something unique.

The best tour ever - The tour was the best we ever had. Our guide Eric was awesome. He guided us easily to the top and I think we couldn’t make it without him. He told us a lot of things about the history of the island and also about plants and animals. We enjoyed every second of it. He took also great videos and photos. I proposed to my girlfriend on the top and I have a beautiful video thanks to him. 10/10!

Amazing - The hike was so much fun and included walking, rock scrambling and shuffling across the landscape. It's well worth the early start. Kevin was an awesome guide making sure everyone was welcomed and got up and down safely as well as ensured there were some water breaks and photo opportunities. He was calm, warm and translated everything in French and English to ensure everyone was on board. He had great knowledge on Mauritius and the native flora, fauna and surrounds. Feel free to ask him questions along the way as well. Kevin also took some action shots and is able to airdrop and or send via WhatsApp.

Sunset Le Morne Hike - The entire experience was brilliant, from start to end. The route itself was fun and provided a fun but suitable challenge throughout. It really felt that you achieved something worthwhile getting to the top. The climb at sunrise heightened the experience with some amazing colours starting to appear through the clouds as the sun came through. Our guide Kevin was fantastic also. So welcoming, very knowledgeable on the route and demonstrated/explained the more challenging parts of the climb. His experience and expertise can not be missed, he even shared some facts about the biodiversity on the way up and down which was interesting to listen to.
If you are thinking about doing this but not sure... just do it. Don't miss out on this experience. It was the best activity we did on the island during our stay even if it meant getting up earlier than normal. Brilliant activity and fantastic guide throughout.
Highly recommend.

Amazing Sunrise Hike - It was absolutely amazing! Both Eric and Kassia were superb! Gave us all the safety instructions and were with us throughout the hike. The history facts also were so interesting. Most of all I think the timing of the hike is perfect… for the views, for the adventure and for the lack of crowds. Loved it!
Note: the hike is quite chalkengin if you’re not an experienced hiker! Be ready.

Gigantic experience not without danger. - I chose this climb the night before. It was important to me not to be exposed to the greatest heat of the day. That was good and good. I'm 65 years old and I don't play sports anymore. My condition is not bad. But still, if I had precise information about the difficulty, I probably would not have booked the climb. There are sections that are really very steep, there are no aids,
to which you can hold on. You then have to constantly look for support with your hands on the rocks and they are sometimes very sharp-edged. There's not a single kick. All nature and rubble. In my opinion, the guide took the tour much too fast. It wasn't the last one he kept an eye on either. The breaks were extremely short, the last participants had just arrived, when they had to move on again. When asked, the answer was that we did not have time. Somehow everyone made it upstairs. The view up there was worth the effort. And somehow we had to go back down. At the very steep points we had to turn/rob face up, as in yoga the bridge, down. Two participants also slipped on rubble and suffered severe abrasions. In the end, everyone was happy. However, the guide often ridiculed me in front of the group because I always sat down during breaks. He didn't deserve to know that my right underpinning after an elongated artery occlusion during corona was near amputation. I don't remember how many times I had to hear, how many times he's been upstairs and how much he chills in life. Anyway, the view up there is gigantic, I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone without a guide. But proper hiking boots that go over the ankles with a professional profile and gloves are essential in my view. And they have to assess their skills themselves, the guide takes everyone with him. Incidentally, I agree with Agne K's review of May 4, 2024. A guide is someone who takes care of the weakest member of the group. And doesn't want to earn his stars through self-expression. I did the tour on October 10, 2024
