Great experience with Ali. - Ali, was the best person to get around Lebanon. He was friendly, kind and we learn a lot. He answer all of our curiosity questions about politics, history and economy of Lebanon. Great experience will totally recommend.

Top pick - absolutely recommended - The tour to Anjar and Baalbek was amazing. The ruins are breathtaking, I have never thought that it s so huge and imposing.
Our tour guide, Ali, was professional. He told many interesting things about the sites and we could chat with him about the country. It was a really informative conversation.
The operator of the tour was helpful and friendly. The contact was easy (via WhatsApp).
I recommend this tour to everyone. This is a tour without tourist traps in a wounderful country.

Baalbek is a must-see - Baalbek temple complex was the highlight of our trip. We had Harake with us who is very friendly and informative. Great experience we would recommend to friends and family.

Fabulous Excursion! - We were picked up at our hotel at the agreed time by Harake. Harake gave us a lot of information on Lebanon in general, provided us with leaflets for Anjar and arranged a guide for us at Baalbek. He was patient, polite and was easy to contact.
Our pick-up for the airport transfer was very timely and communication with Lebanon Local Tour was easy and prompt.

A Great Day Out - Lebanon Local Tour looked after us in a prompt, straightforward, and professional manner. We travelled from downtown Beirut with driver Ahmed to Anjar and Baalbek and had a wonderful day out. It took about 1h20m to get to Anjar, which was sprawling, virtually deserted, and did not require a guide. We enjoyed it very much and spent about 45 minutes onsite. Baalbek was an hour drive further northeast, and to get there we passed through some productive agricultural land where we noted the presence of many Syrian refugee encampments, most of them a jumble of tents and tarpaulins. Baalbek itself was simply amazing, and absolutely worth the very long drive. Ahmed arranged a guide for us at the front gate ($20USD) who led us through the site over the next hour. Getting back to Beirut took about 2 hours. All in all, Lebanon Local Tour offers an excellent day trip to these two sites.
