Great hike with awesome view! - This was a great morning hike. The driver, Carl, was expert at negotiating the narrow streets through Vidigal to drop us off at the trail head. Our hiking guide, Thalles, was great at taking us on the hike up the mountain. Our guide pointed out different views and neighborhoods along the way and some of the animals that we encountered-mainly monkeys and lizards. The trail was completely empty in the morning and we had the peak to ourselves. The view from the top was amazing. I have been to Rio many times and this was my first hike to the top of Dois Irmaos. It was definitely worth the hike! I would highly recommend!

Best day of my trip! - This was the best day during my time in Rio! My guide Gulherme made the hike better than it could possibly be! He became my personal photographer and was a joy to converse with the entire hike. He also walked me all the way back to Ipanema which was super nice! I felt safe the entire time and we shared many laughs! Would 100% recommend this tour, make sure to ask for Gulherme!! Not to mention how beautiful the views were at the top. Check out the pictures!

Far too expensive! - The view of the bay of Rio is incredible at the top of the two brothers but the price offered by TripAdvisor for the guided hike with visit and transport from the hotel is much too high for the service! Not worth it at all! Transportation by Uber would have cost 4 times less for the same thing and we still had to pay for the motorcycle taxis. In addition, the English-speaking guide was very nice but spoke English quite poorly and above all spoke to us very little (she barely answered the questions) The visit to the Vidigal favela was not a visit at all, we just crossed the slum to go down without any comment with two stops in cafes to consume local drinks/ice creams. Very disappointed with the service given the very high price we paid (197 euros for 2 people)

Take your chances. - Tour was canceled but I was not contacted. Had to take an Uber to the meeting spot. Tour company was responsive and offered another tour or refund, I chose the refund. Wasted a couple hours of my morning and a wasted Uber fare; lack of communication regarding canceled tour. Will not use this company again.
