• Nardò - Option for a wine tasting tour at a local winery (Closed on Sundays and subject to availability). In Nardò, visitors can independently partake in a wine tasting tour at a prominent local winery (advance booking required). The cellar offers various experiences, ranging from 3 to 4 glasses of different grape wines, accompanied by a small appetizer of taralli and focaccia bread, with an option for typical cheese, and a comprehensive experience with 5 glasses of wine that includes a cold cuts platter. The wine tasting costs between 30 to 40 euros per person, payable at the winery as per your preferences. If the wine tasting is not conducted, the time will be allocated to the next stops or additional stops, as per the customer’s wishes. Also, consider the “Discovering Galatina Basilica” tour option.
• Spiaggia Cittadina a Santa Maria al Bagno - Transfer to the coast with brief stops in charming villages like Santa Caterina and Santa Maria al Bagno.
• Torre Del Fiume Di Galatena - Travel to Gallipoli beach, passing by four tower fortifications and the cut mountain.
• Spiaggia Padula Bianca - Pause at Rivabella beach. Here, enjoy the location with both a lovely free beach and private lidos, so bring your swimsuit and towels to relish the stunning sea.
• Centro Storico di Gallipoli - Gallipoli, the Ionian pearl, is split between the modern city and the old one. The ancient city is situated on a limestone island, connected to the mainland by a bridge built in the 16th century. Here, enjoy free time to explore the historic center, characterized by narrow streets filled with local handicraft shops, beautiful baroque Churches, and aristocratic Palaces. Notable sites include the Cathedral, a prime example of baroque in Salento, the 13th-century Castle, and the Greek fountain, one of Italy’s oldest. Note: The remaining tour hours will be spent traveling.

If the wine tasting is unavailable, such as on Sundays or due to winery scheduling, the tour will include a visit to Galatina to see the captivating late Romanesque church of Santa Caterina d’Alessandria, built in 1390 and adorned with magnificent frescoes by artists from the Giotto school. This option, “Discovering Galatina Basilica,” is also available if you choose to skip the winery or the beach.
