Wonderful evening with lovely hosts - Fabio and Lisa were perfect hosts. It was like an educational dinner party. We were two couples and Lisa taught us how to make local pasta while Fabio helped us sample local wines. Yummy sauces too.

A wonderful and memorable experience with great food and friendly people! - What a fun evening with Lisa and Fabio. They were organized and prompt in picking us up at the meeting point. And then it got better from there. They welcomed us into their home and kitchen and taught us how to make fresh orecchiette and macaronini while sharing their love for Italian, and particularly Pugliese, cooking. When we finished making the pasta, they served us a wonderful and delicious meal using our homemade pasta with two sauces and a variety of amazing antipasti they had prepared ahead of time. Dinner in their patio included local wine tasting and fun conversation as they shared information about themselves, Lecce and Italy. After dinner they served homemade dessert and limoncello! What an amazing way to get a look inside the real and very friendly people of southern Italy and taste the amazing regional food. This cooking class was a wonderful, memorable experience and one of the highlights of our three weeks traveling through southern Italy. Thank you Lisa and Fabio!

Wonderful, authentic cooking class! - Lisa and Fabio are delightful! We came for an authentic cooking experience, but received so much more. From the moment of greeting, Lisa and Fabio are warm and kind. They picked us up at a convenient location, and drove us to their comfortable home where everything had been prepared in advance for our cooking experience. Lisa showed us how to make two shapes of pasta while we all became friends. She had prepared a lovely aperativo table to share while the pasta cooked. We enjoyed dining in the lovely garden where they shared tips for local adventures. We enjoyed every minute! Lisa and Fabio are perfect hosts and encouraging teachers. I highly recommend their class, not only as a cooking experience, but also an opportunity to make wonderful new friends.

The best evening of our great time in Lecce. - This was so much more than we expected. Apart from learning a lot about Puglian food and wines we were made to feel like real friends spending an evening together. Wonderful experience with Lisa and Fabio. Great teachers and hosts.

Pasta-gnostic No More... - Lisa and Fabio are phenomenal. We arrived as pasta-gnostic, meaning we usually bought dried pasta and would occasionally splurge for store-bought fresh pasta. But make it ourselves? Only did that once in a cooking class in Orvieto. Orecchiette? We saw the women in Bari make that on a Stanley Tucci episode of In Search of Italy. But there was no way we could do that. Lisa and Fabio proved us wrong, Showed us alternatives for simple sauces and even simpler pasta. Semolina and water? Really? Where is the egg? Fabio was great showing me that even fat fingers will not limit your orecchiette readiness. We loved learning about their traditions and life in Lecce. Fabio served great local wines that complimented the many appetizers Lisa made, including warm multigrain bread that went so well with everything. We were sad to leave our new food friends, but two days after our return home, i made orecchiette and cherry tomato sauce for Mother's Day. And while it was not as delicate as i achieved in their class and home, it was a wonderful way to relive our few hours learning to cook as Lisa and Fabio do.

Delightful! - My friend, Kathy and I had a wonderful time! Lisa and Fabio were excellent and very patient instructors in teaching us how to make pasta. Their home was so welcoming. They provided us with an over the top antipasti with so many delectable choices that were typical of the Puglia region. Each was paired with different wines. We had a delightful evening meeting new people and talking about their travels. Lisa and Fabio were a lot of fun. They shared information about the area along with how to make several of the dishes they served. Lisa made sure we arrived safely at our B&B. They took photos of us which they will share via email along with a few special recipes. Hopefully, they have my email address as I'm excited to see the photos and receive the recipes! Thanks for a perfect evening! Diana Karwowski

Wonderful Evening Making Pasta and Making Friends! - Meeting Lisa and Fabio was the BEST experience of our trip to Italy! They were delightful through and through! They made sure that our experience was authentic and reflected traditional regional cuisine. The appetizers, wine, dessert, and even Lisa's very own limoncello were all delicious add ons to the pasta we made together! They were fun and patient during the pasta making part of our evening. I only wish I had made reservations for this class in the beginning of our trip to Lecce, as they had great recommendations for things to do and places to eat! We will remember Lisa and Fabio with fondness, always. Please look us up on your trip to the USA! Ciao!

Traditional pasta making skills with fun - We were picked up at Porto Napoli by our two very friendly hots Lisa and Fabio and driven to their home a short distance away. We had coffee with almond milk on ice, a local speciality then rolled up our sleeves. We made orichiette, a local pasta which was great fun. Lisa and Fabio were fun, chatty people who shared their knowledge of traditional pasta preparation along with local information . We then had anti pasta prepared by Lisa with plenty of wine. Delicioso! We made a second shaped pasta and the two sauces were prepared for us so not huge amounts learned but it was so enjoyable to spend an evening with two charming people. They went out of their way to advise on other things we might do. We would say it is a great novice class skill wise but overall a great time was had. Thank you 🙂

Wonderful Evening of Pasta, Wine and new friends! - Lovely experience with Lisa and Fabio in their home. They were warm and welcoming and patient with our pasta skills.😂 They volunteered to transport us from our residence which was appreciated. The dinner was exceptional even with our mis-shaped pasta shells. 👍Fabio had made excellent wine choices that complemented our meal. It was a memorable evening and felt we had made some new friends in Lecce. Highly recommend this experience!
