Friendly and fun pasta making experience - Great experience! Good value for money and would absolutely recommend anyone to do this. We spent roughly one hour preparing the pasta and were able to taste 4 different wines from the region. The hosts were very friendly and spoke great English.

Fabulous time! - We really enjoyed the cooking class. There was only 8 of us including our family of 4 and 2 friends (who live in Germany) and a couple (from Australia). We connected very quickly which made the class more fun. The chef gave us clear directions and was very helpful. Our orrechitte turned out very good. We also got to sample some cheese and other snacks not to mention 4 different wines. Great experience!

Cooking class with Wine in Lecce - I highly recommend- this was one of our highlights in Lecce. We liked that it was a small group. The orecchiette we made was excellent and the wine was also fantastic. The teacher was very knowledgeable, patient and fun to be with.

Excellent pasta making morning! - The class taught is how to turn basic ingredients into orecchiette pasta. We started by making the dough with two simple ingredients. (Flour and Water) Then we rolled and rolled the dough while the instructor guided us the entire way in order to achieve the perfect thickness. Then we cut and she taught us how to shape it. All ending with the best part. Tasting the tenderness and flavorful creation we prepared. Wine was served throughout alongside a few tasty apps. We met travelers from around the world in this tiny restaurant in the middle of Lecce's old town. Buon Appetito!

Not worth doing - Supposedly a 2 hour experience. 45 mins sat in a restaurant waiting for what turned out to be overcooked orecchiette with a less than flavoursome tomato sauce. Wines were of standard quality. The cooking class itself was good fun and I did learn from that. The demo room was overcrowded however. Not a great way to spend valuable time in a lovely city

Waste of 2.5hours of your trip - I don’t normally write bad reviews as I reckon most are just bad experiences for me but this was particularly bad. The pasta making in itself is good but that takes maybe 30-40mins of your time. There were 17 on our course and it was a tight squeeze! Also made it hard to hear or see instructions. A glass of wine was provided during pasta making with a small piece of cheese on a stick with a taralli. No information on the wine was given. You then spend time getting photos taken and moving to a restaurant to wait for the pasta to be cooked. Please note - this is NOT your pasta, it is the pasta made by the 17 individuals in the room. This to me is kind of gross - I have no idea of hygiene standards of others and there were no regulations other than ‘this is where you wash your hands…’ You get a glass of rose wine with 2 taralli topped with soft cheese, quarter of a tomato and half an olive. We waited for an hour to receive a glass of red wine and the pasta and I hope you can see the stodgy mess with insipid ‘sauce’ and an optional sprinkling of cheese… we did not eat! Had our final glass of red with a biscotti (actually quite nice) and left after expressing our disappointment to the lady taking the final part of our €130 (yes €130! I did tell her I thought it was an expensive way to waste 90 mins waiting for a bowl of inedible pasta but she disagreed 🤷‍♀️
