Discover, cook and experience the most iconic Italian dishes with expert home cooks in their own homes. This is a shared cooking class held in a carefully selected local home in Lecce. Our Cesarine (the name of our hosts) will welcome you like part of the family and will teach you their family cooking secrets for an authentic culinary experience.

A trip to Italy wouldn’t be complete without tasting at least one pasta dish… Thus, we’ll show you how to make two! Discover how to hand-roll ‘sfoglia’ (fresh pasta) and prepare 2 distinct, simple pasta variations from scratch guided by your Cesarina. To top it all off, you’ll also acquire the skill to prepare the classic Tiramisu.

Lovely afternoon in Lecce - We had a lovely afternoon and learned how to make pasta and tiramisu. Super cute chef who taught us and can recommend this to everyone who loves food.

Wonderful cooking experience with my mom and friend - Wonderful cooking experience in Puglia! Pierangela and her sister-in-law were fantastic. We learned about the art of making pasta in Puglia and the importance of this being passed down to the younger generations. Pierangela’s home was lovely and her sister-in-law was very helpful translating. My mom, friend, and I thought it was one of the highlights of our trip. And, when I left a bag at Pierangela’s home, she was able to areange for me to pick it up in Lecce later that day.

Fun Italian cooking course! - Cozy evening where we learned to cook delicious dishes. Carlo and Giusy opened their own home to us and made us feel completely at home. Nice to get to know the Italian cuisine in this way. After making the dishes we could sit down in their beautiful courtyard to eat our own homemade dishes. We would definitely recommend this cooking course! Carlo and Giusy thank you!

Absolutely wonderful - This was such an absolutely wonderful experience to share with my family. The hostesses were remarkable and so warm and inviting. We enjoyed so much learning the recipes from their family traditions. The meal was a complete success, even though we had to remake the egg white cream for the tiramisu because my sons didn’t know how to separate eggs. Teenagers, ages 19, 17 and 15 expressed how much they loved going and how it was one of their favorite things to do. We far too much because it was so delicious and I highly encourage this memorable experience in a very quaint setting of the chefs home.

Beautiful location, delecious food and lovely people - We ventured 15 minutes out of Lecce to the this beautifully stunning villa to be greated by lovely Carlo and Matilde.
Over the next couple hours or so we were guided through making a selection of different pasta as well as the seriously good tiramisu, Matilde was very polite and supportive though out. She also took some great in action pictures for us.
Followed up by a tour of the grounds and lunch! Highly recommend, seriously tasty and fresh food, using authentic methods, run by two lovely people.

A must when in Puglia!! - A more than a five star rating cooking class! We had a lovely time with Carlo and Giusy who made us feel right at home. In their beautiful characteristic summer house, we made various kinds of pasta and Giusy’s own tiramisu (including chef's three secrets). Carlo also made a delicious dish of eggplant, tomato, smoked cheese, and Parmesan cheese, baked in the oven. We enjoyed all this delicious food in their lovely courtyard garden. We savored the great company and the wonderful food. Highly recommended. Grazie mille Carlo e Giusy!

Highlight of the holidays in Puglia - The cooking class was absolutely amazing, it was - without a doubt - a highlight of our whole trip! Matilde and Carlo are fantastic hosts who made us feel at home. We enjoyed every second of the experience, we learned a lot and the pasta that we’ve made was the best one we had during our holidays in Puglia. I highly recommend that experience to everyone!

Cancellation a disappointment and no honest answer as to why it was cancelled! - Booked and paid, then received a request for another date. Bad communication. Phone number was unreachable. Long wait for feedback via WhatsApp. No one was present on location at the time we originally booked. So apparently the workshop was not overbooked, but there were too few participants. Very disappointing experience.
