A great way to see the best bits of Salento - A great tour of the region with Stefano, he was friendly, knowledgeable and a great tour guide. The first stop was a short one at Galatina to understand the Greek influence on the region and visit a church, the explanation that Stefano gave of the history of Galatina and the surrounding towns was probably more interesting than the town itself. The stop was short and onto Otranto. Otranto is definitely somewhere where I could have stayed longer, a wonderful coastal town. From here we headed along the Coast road to Leuca, great views and some wonderful small towns. To make sure you get the best views sit on the L-H side. We stopped outside the town of Leuca and Stefano explained the geographical and historic significance of where the Ionian and Adriatic seas meet, before dropping down to the town for lunch. Your guide will some recommendations for lunch, we went to Lido Azzurro and enjoyed perfect sea bass. The final stop was Gallipoli and en route the temperature hit 42 degrees, in reality this meant it was too hot to walk far and being mid afternoon many places were closed. Still glad we went, from there it was a relatively short trip back to Lecce. A great way to see the region and something of interest for everyone, big thanks to Stefano.

Excellent tour of salento coast - Really enjoyed this tour, although we had bad luck with the weather (random thunderstorms & hail day in otherwise perfect weeks). Stefano gave us lots of info in both Italian & English & it’s a great way to see a lot of coast in one day. The salento coast is stunning & Stefano helped me alot with planning my next days and which beaches to go to by bus & which boat tours to do. Booking site would only allow booking for 2+ people but I messaged Stefano directly and he accommodated me into a tour which had space, so if you’re travelling solo give that a go :)

Most enjoyable - Stefano was great at explaining the history of the area. It was also very interesting hearing about the culture of the area. It was most informative and thoroughly enjoyable places. Stefano’s suggestion for a seafood lunch was a winner!
