Uncover the origins of Blanche Armagnac AOC, an Armagnac that matures outside barrels. Established in Arton in 1985 with the brand Fine Blanche®, Patrick de Montal reveals that the quality of Armagnac relies on the expertise in winemaking and the alluring aromas that distillation brings out from the wine. The Montal-Montesquiou family stands for a groundbreaking stance: Armagnac is not a type of brandy, but rather belongs to the sphere of wine culture. This belief inspired the family to establish their vineyard in 1991 to cultivate their wine and Armagnac. From the vineyard, to the wine, and then to Armagnac, everything must be produced within the estate, embodying the terroir and the craftsmanship of Arton to the fullest.
