Very good tour. We went... - Very good tour. We went to three overlooks on the drive around the island. We had a crystal clear day with stunning views of the mountain and the lagoon. Santi was a great guide. He had a vast knowledge of the islands and plants. Highly recommend.

great tour to know the island - We had a wonderful experience on this tour. The guide, Moana, was a great driver, funny and polite. He took us to each location, shared the local history and culture, and took pictures for us in the best spots! It was a great way to see the main island and enjoy the great views that would have been very challenging to access by ourselves. Though we also did a lagoon tour, this land tour is a must, too!

TOP NOTCH TOUR! - Such an amazing tour and such friendly and helpful people. I had to leave my mobility scooter in a safe place until I returned, and they made sure to get me settled in nicely in the back of the Jeep then stashed my scooter safely before leaving. So knowledgeable, so accommodating and so very interesting. And one of the highlights of the trip (besides the AMAZING views from way up the mountain!) was the visit to the tour guide's family. I would have given this TEN STARS if it had let me🥰 Sue from Canada

Good way to get a quick island tour - The driver was great, funny, and a great driver. He allowed us to take as much time or as little time as we wanted. One thing that wasn’t super clear was that we would get a chance to visit Vaitape (the downtown area) so we were glad we got to do that.

Great half day tour with a couple great guides. - We ended up being the only two on the tour. It’s great they still ran it and didn’t try to get us to reschedule on another day. They hit all the spots around the island for great photos. One of the guys even made us woven handbags and a purse for the wife. Good informative tour with friendly knowledgeable guides.

Our guide went the extra mile getting us to the top of the mountain to show us the cannon and give us all some backgroun - The views WERE amazing! And we took lots of photos. There was a mixup with the meeting time. The father of our tour guide was kind enough to deliver us to the group, so we didn't miss anything.

Fantastic Experience 🏝️🌞 - This trip was fantastic, we certainly saw a variety of things and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Went to the beach, the water is so clear. Up in the hills, the views are amazing. Saw how sarongs are designed, and could purchase. Saw ancient sacrificial site. Went to a small plantation. The only thing we didn't see which was advertised was the canons, hence why I didn't give five stars. The trip is recommended 🙂

Not safe, not worthwhile - Tania, rep for the company was kind and good with communications. It went downhill after arrival. Several of us waiting for the excursion. Met by a few people from the company including one man who was drunk. We were escorted across the way from meeting spot to a parking lot. There we found several 4WD open air trucks, with various company names on the sides, and a collection of drivers/guides. Including the drunk man, who became the driver for one of the trucks. He had come to our truck and tried to latch the rear panel, and couldn’t do it. My husband latched it, though we would have gotten out if he was to be our driver. Our driver was kind and sober. Another truck driver traveled in conjunction with us and was the guide, giving us info about local plants, etc at stops we made. We went to two higher viewpoints up totally horrible “roads.” Concrete broken, huge rocks, unacceptable passageways and extreme bumping. I have traveled rough roads before and have no problem, but this was extreme and unsafe. (And with the drunken driver, I can’t imagine what his passengers were feeling.) Besides the nice views (not worth the danger), we visited some off road areas with plants, lots of poverty, a pareo-making roadside business (with pareos of rough cotton and simple dyes which were not really beautiful). And we made a brief stop at Marita Beach, which was full of local families and some tourists. Again, not at all what we expected for the “paradise” of Bora Bora. Would absolutely NOT recommend this excursion. We did a water, snorkel, excursion the following day which was excellent. This 4WD tour was an absolute waste of time, and dangerous as well. At minimum, they shoukd not have a drunken guide/driver, and the two rough roads were nuts.
