Bora Bora musical tour - The guide, Heiarii, is amazing. The pieces of information and stories were interesting, relevant. Above all, he sings and plays ukulele at stops. That gives an authentic dimension to the tour. He is friendly, fluent in French and English which is very appreciable. Thanks a lot for this great tour !

Great experience. - The island is so beautiful. Our guide was a very skilled driver. Some of the roads we traveled were extremely steep.

Good way to see some of the best views on Bora Bora. - Was a good, short land excursion that let us explore the island. Pick up at the hotel was on time and the cost for what you are doing seems fair. A short stop in the village would be an added benefit to this tour. The hill climbs were cool in the back of a truck and the views are unforgettable.

Good island tour - Great day out, good way to get a good overview of the island and its history, particularly if you're short on time.

hold on tight! - Pickup and drop off from the hotel was very convenient. There were other companies as well doing the same tour but this car was much easier to get into as it had only one step and proper handrails. There were many photo stops. The first "mountain" the car climbed onto really lived up to it's name. You had to hold on tight with both hands. The views to the Mt. Otemanu and the lagoon were amazing and the driver was kind enough to take pictures. The second stop was Matira Beach where the sand is brilliantly white. Then there were a number of stops with stories about local hotels and their history. I wasn't so interested in hearing about the hotels. There was an other offroad experience up a very steep mountain to see the cannon from the second world war. The driver served bottles of water which was much needed and appreciated. The final stop was at local handicrafts shop. Lots of beautiful pareos and lovely oils. I bought jasmine monoi oil. At times I had a little difficult time understanding our driver but he was definitely doing his best when english was not the first language for neither of us. Definitely a worthwhile trip to take to see the island.

Good value - Seeing tremendous views. Knowledge of guide. Good presence for start up from cruise ship. This is a weakness for Viator for not being more proactive with vendors per previous Viator excursions. Another weakness inefficient communication with vendors prior to activity.

Disappointing Tour - Very disappointed with this tour today. Having used Viator for 2 other trips on Bora Bora it was not to the same standard - if it was not for a French speaking lady on the trip translating I could not follow the guide very well as his English did not give the same insight to the heritage and history of the island. We had no plantation visit for tropical fruit and saw no demonstration at the sarong stop😕😕. I appreciate it rained for a short while but the cannon stop was to be a highlight for me but no visit either luckily I could zoom in from the roadside to capture a shot of the cannon. So glad our other 2 trips made up for today and have left a great lasting impression.

Half Day Trip - Big Disappointment - Very disappointed with this tour booked through Viator - having used them many times in the past all over the world with great success this trip left a lot to be desired due to the tour guide. We were so lucky to have a lovely Belgian lady on board to translate as tour guide spoke mostly in French even though he was aware we were English speaking only. The itinerary that was advertised was not followed and we heard more about the closed hotels since covid than the history of the island. Visiting the plantation turned out to be another disaster never got any fresh fruit or saw a tie dye demonstration was a visit to a relative of tour guide stall by the side of the road. The highlight for us was to be to visit the only cannon left on the island by the Americans but we could only see it in the distance from the road . We got more history the previous day from another activity tour guide. Be aware of Viator and do your homework - I got a very small refund after complaining from £118 paid but would rather of had the tour follow the itinerary that we were expecting . Viator will get no more business from me.
