The ‘aquarium’ snorkeling spot has the largest numbers of fishes you can find in the lagoon. Your guide will take you between the colorful corals to make you discover this wonderful and natural ecosystem.
After exploring the reef, the boat will move to a shallow site where you will interact with graceful sting rays hand-fed by your guide.

Great half day trip - This excursion is a must-do! Action-packed morning with snorkeling, sharks and stingrays! Our guide, Ruori, was extremely knowledgeable and gave us a tour of Bora Bora and stories throughout the trip as well as beautiful music.

So worth it! - Amazing experience- even better than the description. 3 fantastic snorkeling opportunities to see stingrays, swim with sharks and then the stunning coral garden. Lovely snacks as well. Our boat captain was fantastic, giving us lots of interesting information and entertaining us with stories. I highly recommend this experience.

Great experience with multi-generational family - We had a great experience with Niko! We were a party of 10 (grandparents, kids, etc), and he took us to 3 unique locations. So helpful, friendly, fun, and knowledgeable. He even pulled out the ukulele for some great songs as we traveled between the locations. It was a really memorable experience.

Great day snorkeling with Aro - Everything about our snorkeling adventure was amazing. Aro was the best guide and we were so lucky to have him as our captain. He knew all the perfect spots to see rays, sharks and fish and made sure we were all comfortable with each location. I get sea sick so I was a bit nervous as it was windy but the boat was SO comfortable and I didn’t get nauseous for a second. We got to hold the sting rays and saw so many different fish and even swam with the sharks. I was nervous at first but Aro made us all so comfortable and encouraged us all to participate. It was amazing and of course all of the animals loved Aro so it was an awesome experience following him around the reefs and touching the rays with him there. He also knew so much about the island so it was an added history lesson which was really great.
10/10 recommend and we will definitely book this tour with Aro next time we are in Bora Bora!!

Amazing experience - We had the most amazing experience ever! Our guide grew up on Bora Bora and was giving such incredible detailed history and personal stories about the island in French and English. He has been doing this for decades and knew all of the animals so well, especially the sting rays. I believe their names were Lilly, Juliette and Shakira. He made this experience so incredible and the reef garden was amazing. 10/10 would recommend.

Best time snorkeling ever - We took the snorkeling tour what a fantastic time. Three different depths and three different locations. Each one better than the last. Sharks close up. Interesting commentary on the islands too. Mike the captain was fun has a favorite manta ray that he hugs and will let you hug as well.

Must do snorkelling in Bora Bora. - 💯 recommend this 1/2 day trip. We’re experienced snorkellers and this trip will not disappoint. Captain Mike treated us to the heavenly waters and wildlife of Bora Bora lagoon on a picture perfect day. First stop at the “Aquarium” which is literally like snorkelling in a fish tank. Water here is 2-15 ft deep. Next stop in the shallows (waist deep) to meet “Gigi” and “Shakira” (mamma stingrays) plus more rays and a host of friendly little black tip reef sharks. And finally we ventured to the ocean side of the barrier reef to snorkel with even more sharks. Water here is 30-40 ft deep. Every stop was crystal clear and teaming with life. The whole time Captain Mike was sharing stories and played his ukulele and sang at the second stop. Fruit, coconut bread, fruit drinks and water served at the second stop. Bonus is you get to circumnavigate the island which is interesting in itself. Great 1/2 day out. 👍😊

Must do snorkeling adventure with fantastic local guide - Captain Mike took us on an incredible morning around Bora Bora with three snorkeling stops - all amazing. Lovely
clear water made the reef swim like an aquarium. A dozen reef sharks circled us just outside the reef and we swam in glorious shallow water with sharks and rays. The rays are tame and incredible. A completely fantastic experience that was the highlight of our stay. A must do!

Great day on the lagoon! - Our guide, Mana, was fantastic. He provided great information, he was funny, he played the ukkalale and sang beautifully. The snorkeling was great - beautiful coral and tropical fish, swarms of sharks and we got to hold a stingray too! It was amazing.
