Great experience May 2026 - We had a great time snorkeling. We were able to see sharks, sting rays, fish, and even an eel. The tour guy was charismatic and made the tour very comfortable. The boat picked us up from the Westin dock. The boat was a plain boat with no markings but the tour guy had a tshirt on that said Moana Adventures. We brought our own snorkeling equipment but the tour guide had some available on the boat. Overall, we would recommend this experience.

Use this company… knowledge, hospitable and fun. Manta rays, sharks, rays and beautiful fish!! - The staff were very kind and accommodating. We had a wonderful trip with Tane (apologies if not correct spelling). Saw many beautiful fish at coral gardens, a huge manta ray, and enjoyed swimming with sharks and rays.

I was just hoping to see... - I was just hoping to see one or two sharks. We saw a manta ray that got almost close enough to touch (one guy on another tour tried to dive down closer and was swiftly grabbed by his guide). Then we saw about 50 eagle rays migrating together. Then we saw four sharks and maybe five or six stingrays constantly swimming around us for half an hour. It was the coolest snorkeling experience. Guide was great. Pick up and drop off at the hotel were great. I’d do this again every time.

I love the kindness of the Polynesians ☺️ - My wife and I loved all the spots we were shown; they were magnificent even though I did not know how to swim well, but Uncle Sam was great from start to finish with the meal on the motu; it was and will be our most beautiful memory. Thank you, Moana Adventure and Sam ❤️

Great staff, knowledge and fun! - We had the best time on our tour with Laurent and Tehere as our captain and co-captain. We saw manta rays and learnt a lot about Bora through the tour, and as we were on the tour with other people, we got to see different places where people stayed. Our stops for the day included: - Manta ray area - Shark area - Coral garden (with the "Love <3 Bora Bora" sign done by/for divers) We had lot of fun on the day and after spending two weeks in French Polynesia, this tour is among our top 3!

Incredible Eco Snorkel Experience with an Amazing Crew - This eco snorkel tour was easily one of the highlights of our trip. Captain Sam and our guide Sandro were fantastic—friendly, professional, and right on time. They made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable from start to finish, while also sharing helpful and interesting information about the marine life and environment. We were lucky enough to see manta rays, sting rays, and even sharks up close, which was absolutely unforgettable. One of the best parts was when Sam guided us on a swim through a coral garden. The corals were vibrant and healthy, and there were so many beautiful fish all around us—it felt like swimming in an aquarium. Overall, this tour struck the perfect balance between adventure and education. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable and eco-conscious snorkeling experience.

Best Lagoon Tour with Delicious Motu BBQ - We did the Deluxe 6hour Bora Bora Lagoon Tour with Motu BBQ with Sam on a Traditional Polynesian Canoe! This was such an amazing trip! Sam took us to all the good spots and got to swim with sharks, stings rays and the coral and fish were so beautiful to swim around with! Sam was awesome and the Food, The Motu BBQ was the best meal we had on our Bora bora trip! We wanted to go back again just for that Motu BBQ! We recommend Sam 100%. You will have best adventure and best food!!

Great snorkeling adventure! - We looked for manta rays but couldn't find them. We went to another spot and saw a stingray, several colorful fish and blacktip sharks. Then, we went to the Coral garden-it was like swimming in a fish tank. We had a wonderful time.

Disappointing excursion - This is the only excursion of our wonderful 3-week trip that we did not enjoy. Admittedly we saw sharks, dolphins and rays during our excursion of nearly 3 hours, but the gentleman who led our trip was unpleasant, impatient with the eyes often riveted to his watch he often did his hair hardly spoke, in fact it looked like he was bored of being with us and 2 couples of Americans, very disappointing. In fact, in three weeks, he's the only person who's behaved like this. Because Polynesians are adorable, generous, endearing people with whom we have always had great pleasure to share moments in their company and start long discussions. This gentleman should change his profession...
