Best snorkeling experience in Borabora - Awesome excursion with Matt as our guide, showed us many fantastic snorkeling areas in the lagoons and absolutely had a wonderful time

Wonderful snorkeling in Bora Bora - We took the 3.5 hour snorkeling tour in Bora Bora and it was wonderful. At one stop we saw 2 huge manta rays (at a "cleaning station"), which swam around below us for several minutes - really incredible, a highlight of our snorkeling experiences. Another stop was in a beautiful coral garden, gorgeous neon colored clams and coral and huge schools of colorful fish. We were here quite a while and it was amazing snorkeling. Our last stop was to see 2 eagle rays. Took a while to find these, but it was worth the effort. We were picked up and dropped off from the Westin dock which worked very well. Highly recommend this tour!

Best Snorkeling Experience Ever! Incredible Swim with Manta Rays & Eagle Rays! - My husband and I joined three snorkeling tours during our trip, and this one with H2O Snorkeling was the best—it truly outshined the others! Our guide and captain, Matahi, was outstanding—professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly dedicated. Thanks to him, we had an unforgettable experience. We were able to see two Manta Rays, a group of Eagle Rays (more than 20s) and beautiful Coral Gardens and fishes. Look at the pictures I posted on Eagle Rays, absolutely stunning! Detailed experience: 1. For Manta Rays, we tried two places at the beginning but no luck, so we had to move to Coral Garden. After that, we run into another boat and they mentioned they saw Manta Ray at the previous place, our captain decided to circle back and took us to find Manta Ray for the third time, and after some searching we were able to see two! And we swim with one of them for quite a long time. Huge thanks to our captain for the extra effort! 2. For Eagle Rays, we first arrived at a popular spot, the visibility was not very good. Instead of settling, Matahi took us to another location. There we found a lot of Eagle Rays and in Crystal-clear water. They swim to a pretty shallow area so we were able to see them very clear. Swim with them for a very long time and saw some Eagle Ray couples mating and dancing, very romantic! Comparisons with other tours (we had three in consecutive days and weather is perfect for each day so no bias): 1. Our captain Matahi is very professional and friendly, he tried to give us the best experience. We also saw Manta Rays and Eagle Rays in another tour but the experience were nowhere near this one. 2. This tour focus more on snorkeling and water experience, we spent almost all time in the water, and the captain is very patient and waited for us so that we can get the most of the 3.5h experience. For other tours, usually 1h is for touring in boat to go around island, and some singing/cultural experience, which is good too, depends on what you want. But if snorkeling is your priority, this is the one. 3. This tour company is also the best of all. They gave clear communications beforehand. Customer service and Owner are responsive. On the boat, they prepare sufficient equipments (we used life jackets, fins, anti-fog spray). However for the other tours, we have run into small issues here and there. I’ve never written such a long review before, but this tour absolutely deserves it. I guess we are lucky too, for snorkeling we understand nature is a big factor, but we feel the effort, thoughtfulness and spirit of this team made all the difference. For us, it was a perfect day. I’d give it 100 out of 10. Choose H2O snorkeling with Matahi!

An amazing half day out on the water guided by Wilson. - Had an amazing time snorkeling for a half day guided by Wilson. He led us straight to the eagle rays and manta ray locations and showed us everything we could have wanted. Finished off by a lovely trip through the coral gardens with tons of tropical fish to see.

Fantastic - Great time with this provider. It’s not a tourist catch, Wilson has really passed on the love of his territory and by his knowledge tries to protect it by sharing it reasonably.

Good but could’ve been better - Good snorkel excursion with H20 in Bora Bora! Visited 3 sites and saw 1 giant Manta at first site then the coral gardens were beautiful followed by a quick snorkel at an eagle ray spot where we saw a pod of about 50 but in pretty deep water. Tour was solid and Matt our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the lagoon but we spent as much time driving around as actually snorkeling and the routes we took could’ve been shortened to allow for more snorkel time.
