Like the Nike ad says, "Just Do It!" - This was our first time kiteboarding and we had a great time. Mark (from Denmark) was super patient and a great instructor. Because the wind was a bit iffy, Mark extended our time to almost 4 hours. Definitely need more than 1 lesson to get proficient, but we plan to take another lesson when we return. Thanks KiteProvo!

A Great Place for Improving Kiteboarding Skills - I spent a week with Kite Provo and made significant progress in my kiteboarding skills. Before the trip, I couldn’t ride on the board for long periods or go upwind. After taking six lessons with Mati, I can now ride over 300 km and have learned how to carve the board to ride upwind. Mati is an experienced instructor who truly cares about my learning and safety and celebrates my progress. He’s positive, encouraging, and friendly. The other two instructors were also great and very welcoming. If I return to Turks and Caicos, I’ll definitely take lessons with Kite Provo again. I only wish I had an extra week to learn even more about riding upwind!

Fantastic experience! Another hobby we are hooked on! - Fun, fun, fun! Marc was an excellent instructor. Chilled, precise, easy to follow his directions and made it fun all the way. He has us hooked and we will be back! Only suggestion: if you are two people and have the time, book two separate 2hr private lessons. Same price as the 3hr bring a friend which only gives you 1.5 hrs shared time p.p.

Kit boarding lesson - Mark was a fantastic instructor. He was very patient and did an excellent job explaining how to do everything and most importantly what I was doing wrong. I highly recommend the lesson and in particular Mark as an instructor. It was a great experience. I’d live to try it again!!

Learn kiteboarding fast! - Amazing progress in only a few sessions! Such great instructors! Location is unbeatable! Not much that can be improved!

Stop overthinking and book KiteProvo! - Great teachers, all of them. Great balance of fun and skill-building. Very caring people; they will work with you to meet your goals, needs, dreams etc. including scheduling. Gorgeous setting, perfect for this sport. By the way, I was surprised to find that Kiteboarding is NOT a strength sport and is not very dangerous. It's surprisingly accessible for all ages. 10/10 would recommend!

Kite Provo Kiteboarding School is GREAT - We had Jay as the instructor for my 15 year old daughter and myself and we had a great time and learned a lot. We had never done kite boarding before today and we learned enough basic controls of the kite, how to get it out of the water when we crashed it into the water and started to get up on the board. Jay was very patient even when I did not do what he said, my daughter listened so she was his favorite. If we have time we will probably do another lesson. I would highly recommend using the Kite Provo Kiteboarding school. Update: We went back to Turks and Caicos this summer and had Alan as our instructor and he was great, just refreshed us on the skills we learned last year and moved us forward. We had a great time and I do not know how to say this any better but Kite Provo Kiteboarding School is GREAT.

First Class Kite lessons! - We signed up for a full week of lessons with Kite Provo and could not have been happier. The instructors were GREAT! Of course, the water and weather are so conducive to learning! Kristen and Chris are super helpful and have a true appreciation for all that the Island offers! We highly recommend Kite Provo and will be back! Don't hesitate - just book it!

Fantastic, Fun, and Successful Kiteboarding Experience for My 3 Sons! - My three sons (ages 24, 23, and 15) had never kiteboarded before and were excited to try. Jay was a phenomenal instructor! All 3 of them were able to learn how to do it and all got up and went in their first lesson! The communication leading up to the lesson was thorough and perfect. Their directions to find their location were precise and made it super easy to get to the lesson. I would highly recommend Kite Provo...they were fantastic, taught them how to kiteboarding quickly and safely, while making them laugh and have fun throughout the lesson!

A lot of fun to learn - I did a 5 hour package . The first day was 2 hours independent Instruction which was great . After 25 min on beach setting up you get a jet ski ride out far from land but still chest deep water which is so awesome in itself . I got a lot of feedback and assistance the first day to fly the kite , relaunch it with assist and then trial of getting up ( assist with kite ) which I did a few times but couldn’t stay up. The next day the instructor stayed mostly on the jet ski. I was taken even further out and practiced flying the kite and get pulled around as I couldn’t quite touch which was alot of fun. I tried to get on the board myself and control the kite which I couldn’t . I let the instructor know it wasn’t going to work . He helped me a few times . I figured out that I could get on the board and then launch the kite myself with many failed attempts but some good ones. I achieved one full ride up for a bit . I would suggest that the instructor not use the jet ski until the student can get up themselves. It’s very difficult to hear instruction when they are not beside you. I will say I did learn how to launch the kite and untangle the kite myself by the end and could even get up by myself unconventionally . I definitely would want to take more lessons. It’s the perfect place to learn. I had to leave the next day. I’ll have to return for more lessons !!! I think if I had more assistance in the water the second day I would have had more successful rides. TCI is beautiful !!! We will be back
