We also managed to catch a few shows, although we missed out on some due to time constraints. The ‘Trial by Combat’ was not quite what we expected, as it turned out to be a trebuchet demonstration rather than a medieval weaponry showcase. However, the jousting event more than made up for it, with knights in shining armor battling it out in the arena. It was thrilling and had us all on the edge of our seats.

A Comfortable Stay and Practical Tips

Deciding to stay overnight in one of the castle’s suites was a fantastic choice. Our King family suite was clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced, making it a perfect base for our adventure. I highly recommend considering an overnight stay to fully enjoy all that Kryal Castle has to offer.

A word of advice for fellow parents: consider bringing your own food. While the castle offers dining options, the reviews about overpriced theme park food were spot on. Packing a picnic allowed us to enjoy our meals without any fuss.
