Additional Information
We attire ourselves in cozy outfits and receive instructions on operating the ATV you’ll be handling. Once we’re all set, we embark on our mission to chase the Northern Lights!
Our journey proceeds along the seaside route, leading to the untamed coastline where we have an excellent vantage point and substantial chances to witness the enchanting northern lights, weather permitting. The excursion spans approximately five hours. However, in case the northern lights put on an exceptional show, we will linger until every participant is thoroughly contented! We provide pickups and drop-offs from all hotels in Alta, the ports, and the tourist center to the launch point.
- Disclaimer: Even though we usually find the spectacular Northern Lights on our tours, we cannot GUARANTEE that the sky is clear, and the lights are visible. Min. 4 Guests / Max. 14 Guest 2 guests pr ATV. Maksimum passanger weigth pr ATV 200 kg

Life changing! - Absolutely amazing experience!
Went above and beyond, driving for hours to find the lights when they weren’t showing up at first, and didn’t rush us at all when the lights did show up even though it was very late! Very knowledgeable guide, beautiful landscape and the only tour I could find which went out into the tundra like this.

Snowmobile for the win! - We actually did the snowmobile tour because our ATV guide fell ill earlier in the day. The tour was great, and our guide was so friendly and accommodating. We had never driven a snowmobile before but he was encouraging and we had an amazing time learning. Oh - and we got an awesome light show :)

Bone-chilling wind, but warmed our hearts. - On 8 February 24, the weather was frigid, windy and uncooperative. We didn't see the Northern Lights. Yet, we had a great time! MJogi, our guide, was outstanding. He did a terrific job with little to work with. It was a wonderful cultural exchange AND we earned bragging rights to take back to our ATV friends in Colorado. Who else can say they ATVd in the winter, on the snow, inside the arctic circle in pitch-black darkness, with a windchill factor or -500? You, if you book with Finnmark Adventure AS. Okay, maybe it wasn't -500 degrees...but it did warm our hearts. Thank you and we can't wait to return in a Summer season!

Atv in snow and ice with northern lights - It was really fun. We had a great view of the northern lights. And the ATVs drove really well on the icy roads. I don't want to go into detail about it unless it's really worth it. It was really, really good.

Best ATV trip - This trip was amazing; we were lucky with the weather and even saw the Northern Lights. The guides were excellent, offering warm drinks and snacks in the middle of the journey. If you want to experience aurora hunting outside the city with an ATV, I highly recommend it – it was the highlight of my trip.

Great experience highly recommended - Had such an amazing time and Marius was such a good host
We got to chase the northern lights via a quad bike and he took us to a real dark place so we could see it in all its glory with minimal fake light
So happy I did this

Fab and exciting tour - would highly recommend it - A great tour. Picked up from ship port in a clean bus. Our tour guide was the driver ! A small Family business so everyone is multi skilled. Provide with warm weather kit including boots and protective head gear. Instructions on ATVs which has 2 passengers. Hot drink and snack provided. No time constraints as the whole group off the same Cruise ship. Had several stops - always checked on every ATV and its passengers to ensure we’re happy and warm. Escorted by a mini bus for anyone who was getting cold ( not used) and found the northern lights ! The only improvement would be a bit more information on the local area on the drive to the location of the ATVs

Experience of a lifetime. - The best tour ever. We were picked up and greeted by our guide and headed out on an experience never to be forgotten. The snow gear and ATVs were the best. He knew right where to take us to see the Lights and also provided us with hot drinks and snacks. I would definitely recommend this tour.

You takes ya chance. - Very welcoming, no problem with the activity as a whole but the weather wasnt great, vey cold, very very windy, and no northen lights so disappointing night really. It was a big expense for not a great experience.
