- Tangkuban Perahu - We leave Jakarta by car for a 3-hour drive and, upon arrival, spend an hour at the volcano, which stands at 1830 meters above sea level. Tangkuban Perahu, meaning “Overturned Boat,” offers breathtaking views and a cool, breezy atmosphere. The name is derived from a local legend about its formation, involving Dayang Sumbi and her son, Sangkuriang. This stratovolcano is located 30 km north of Bandung, the capital of West Java. It has erupted multiple times, including in 1826, 1829, 1842, 1846, 1896, 1910, 1926, 1929, 1952, 1957, 1961, 1965, 1967, 1969, 1983, 2013, and 2019. It is a popular tourist destination where visitors can hike to the crater’s edge to see hot springs and boiling mud up close. The area features remnants of the ancient Sunda caldera, which collapsed after an eruption. Numerous shops sell souvenirs, and visitors can hike down and up for closer views of the smoky crater.
- Domas Crater - Located about 1 km downhill from Ratu Crater, Domas Crater is another attraction in the volcanic area. Here, you can dip your feet in hot springs or use sulfuric mud for a therapeutic foot massage. You can also boil and eat eggs in the hot springs. The bubbling hot springs provide a unique experience, and you can step on hot stones, though swimming is not allowed.
- Lembang - After the volcano tour, we stay in the city to explore other attractions. The streets are lined with pineapple shops and vendors selling various authentic fruits that you can try and buy.
- Lembang - Driving through Lembang, you’ll see numerous rice fields and tea plantations. We’ll stop for lunch and then continue with coffee or tea time.
- D’Castello - D’Castello is a relatively new tourist spot in the Ciater District, Subang Regency, but it has quickly become a favorite. This flora tourism destination features Instagram-worthy spots and is located at the foot of Mount Tangkuban Perahu.

Bandung is one of the biggest cities in Java after Jakarta. Bandung has many regions such as Lembang or the volcano area. The highlight: The volcano is one of the active craters and erupts many times. Also there a remains of larvae making the area very natural, the crater is absolutely amazing landscape with a nice scenery view. Beside the beautiful panoramic it has a Legend called Sangkuriang. Step down as hiking 1 km away, then step on hot stone, mud, and sulfur. Some holes are the sound of bubbling, Bulb bulbs. You can try boiling the egg or therapy. You’ll going to have a chance to try local coffee, taste the Pineapple and local food, and Stop at rice field and tea plants. You can choose one spot photo area such D’castello to see the tea plants panoramic. At castello provides many rides, here for children must be recommendation or adult can be happy too. Excellent day with superb service - This was a fantastic day trip made all the better by our Agung and driver Samsul. I was a bit concerned with the trip to start because my wife had developed a leg problem and was having some problem with too much walking, this presented no problem for Agung and the day was altered to accomadate this.
We had not seen a Volcano crater before and this was excellent Agung provided information about it and some traditional stories as to the formation of the Volcano.
The hot springs were crowed but we found our own little piece of solitude and enjoyed the afternoon. Lunch was a great meal sitting down with both Agung and Samsul.
The beauty of this trip was the flexibility offered by Agung very accomadating and nothing was a problem it is a reasonably drive but it is broken up and our guide was very mindful of this.
Again a great day and thanks so much.
When in Jakarta certainly give this a go.

Amazing tour with Agung! - Thank you to Agung for an amazing tour. Agung is a wonderful guide - knowledgeable, with very interesting insights and patient, making it a relaxing and enjoyable day trip. There is so much to do on this tour, the highlights being the craters, which were unique and impressive, and the excellent lunch! A great option for solo travellers as you can go at your own pace, with freedom to decide where you want to go and what you’d like to see, and while feeling confident that you are in safe hands the whole trip.

Nice volcano tour - Great trip out of jakarta.
Will do it again next time. But coming from different areas, hard to get used to, so much traffic in Jakarta. Everytime we are always stuck in traffic so be prepared to take a couple hours to go to your destinations.
Did this twice already with this tour. Easy communication.
There is a separate guide who took us to the crater. The first time, we got a nice young man with great English. The second time we were assigned to someone with more challenging English to understand who also demanded a lot of tip afterwards.
But overall, what a beautiful place of nature to visit

Great day, beautiful views, great vibe - We had a wonderful time on this tour!
Our guide Fitri was super lovely, full of great information, and she accommodated for anything we asked her. Our driver Elun was safe and reliable, we felt very comfortable driving with him.
Ferdy and the team were also very helpful at the booking stage. All the tours that we could find included visits to the civet coffee farms which was not included in this tour. The company and guide triple confirmed with us that there would be no civets so that put our minds at ease as we dont like the practice :-)
The volcano and dolma crater were beautiful. We enjoyed a nice walk and soaking our feet in the warm crater bubbles. We also loved the fair that we visited, full of great views, beautiful flowers, and such a fun vibe!
Lunch was also included and we could not fault the spread we received- absolutely delicious!

Do! Excellent - I took the second long trip made other extraordinary day to see the crater boiling with the color of ash, my guide was very skilled at taking me down the hill and walking on the rocks that sounded, after everything was finished I tried to have lunch and stop by a place to drink coffee and stop once at local fruit, and additionally visited the palace colored over the tea garden. Thank you Ms. Fitri and Elun was my driver, Next should come back see the city with them

Good guide. Good program - We have excellent day with guide who speak well, best behavior and super friendly. Even have long distance to reach Volcano but I got amazing volcano and other crater, we just move after to colored place which so many local people holiday and take photos. They are excited to have photo with us for unsure. This trip are good combination for family.

Wonderful crater visit - We had a wonderful experience with our guide, Ferdy and driver Antonio. Ferdy was beyond amazing. He is well verse in English and knowledgeable about the area. He also helped me a lot on our journey down to the hot springs. He was patient throughout the entire trip.
Both of them able to find alternatives routes to avoid traffics. And those alternatives routes allowed us to see stunning views of the rice fields and tea plantations.
I highly recommend going on this trip. Thank you again Ferdy and Antonio for a wonderful day trip.

Highly recommended!!!! - Tangkuban perahau they called as queen crater, that crater is real with magnificient view with that smoke and grey mud color. It was very memorable in my travel. Then I went down to see the beautiful panoramic of Domas.
I really happy with the trip provide the best place and close each other also went to colorful palace while this is not one of the nature but it was best for breaking up, see the tea plant view and recomment to take some pictures. This is best colaburation program is fantastic.
The guide, Saleh was the best! He was friendly and very helpful during the tour. He shared everything about city and countryside. Apart from that, Saleh suggested to go restaurant after time up from trek side and manage the time to go back. Overall worthed.
