It was a journey, not only physically but also emotionally, through breathtakingly beautiful places and fascinating stories. The tour started in Lercara Friddi, a place that seems to have fallen out of time. I walked through the streets once crossed by Frank Sinatra's father and felt history vibrating beneath my feet. Visiting the Mother Church and its nativity scene collection left me speechless. Prizzi, with its narrow, winding streets, transported me to another time, a time of knights and ladies, love stories and battles. And Palazzo Adriano, with its fusion of cultures, made me feel like I had entered a scene from the movie "Cinema Paradiso". The Hermitage of Santa Rosalia alla Quisquina was an oasis of calm in the middle of the tour. Immersed in the silence of the forest, I felt a deep connection with nature and with myself. In San Giovanni Gemini, visiting the Mother Church that houses the Black Christ "Jesus Nazarè" was an intense spiritual experience. I felt a deep connection with the faith and devotion of the people who live in these lands. And then, Cammarata. This place, known as "a mountain of excellences", gave me an unforgettable culinary experience. The lunch of local delicacies made me discover flavors that I will never forget. This tour was not just a journey through wonderful places, but an experience that touched me deeply. I discovered an authentic Sicily, far from the usual tourist paths, a Sicily that lives in the heart of the people who inhabit it. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable experience. We repeated this experience this year because we liked it so much the first time. It was just as fascinating and moving as the first time, and we are already looking forward to our next trip to the heart of Sicily.
