Great history of Viking ships and dramatic scenes of the coast - The Viking Museum was amazing and the medevil settlement was really cool. The trip out to the lighthouse was great. The walk to the overview was short but kind of steep so older folks or people with mobility issues should stay in the bus.

Great Tour of Alesund - We did a private version of this tour with our group of seven and had a wonderful time. Our guide was Camilo and he and our driver were great. We had a multi-generational group and he was great with everyone. We were able to keep the pace to what we wanted and felt like we saw and learned everything Alesund had to offer. Pick up and drop off at the port was very easy, and we were back to the ship in plenty of time. I would highly recommend this tour to others.

Alesund Norway, a treasure to experience - The tour allows you to see parts of the city & area otherwise challenging to fit in on your own. We were on a cruise and for those of you who take cruises know this was half the cost of a cruise excursion and they are well aware to have you back to the ship on time. Great guide & driver, entertaining & helpful. Well worth the experience, enjoy this tour!

An interesting overview of Alesund - I chose the Ultimate excursion as I wanted to see something of the surrounding area as well as the town itself and was not disappointed. The tour was well organised, communication of a changed pickup time was good with a follow up reminder, and a representative was at the port to meet me. Sandra, our tour guide was well informed, easy to listen to and did not overload us with facts and figures but was able to respond to all our queries in depth if we asked for more information. Our driver (apologies that I didn't get his name) was excellent, particularly going through the various tunnels. The tour covered a range of activities from lookout points to a very interesting outdoor museum, a lighthouse, a very old church and a brief city tour - altogether a good mix of things to see with extra time at a couple of the places to explore on your own or grab a coffee. The pace was just right and this is definitely a tour I would recommend to anyone wanting a general overview of this interesting port and surrounding area.

Beautiful waterfall and great guide - Very convenient meeting tour guide and bus right off the ship. Nice large and comfortable coach bus. The female guide did a great job narrating. I’m not sure if we didn’t notice when we booked this tour or not but the first stop was a drive and then stopping at the Visitor Center for an hour. We saw a very nice movie on a large screen that gave you a great drone overlook of Norway & then a walk through a museum. Probably spent an hour there and then onto the waterfall. When we arrived we couldn’t see the top of the waterfall because of cloud coverage so we walked down the stairs to see from the bottom. Beautiful views down there. We would have liked to spend more time here but an hour goes by very quickly if you go down and then back up to the top. Next onto an Arch bridge for a quick walk and photos. Overall we had a nice time and the drive was very picturesque we just wish we had a little more time to stay at the falls.

Good overview tour of the area - The company contacted us prior to the tour to advise the shorter tour we booked, was only being offered as a longer tour. We were happy that they still ran the tour and their communication with us was very good. We covered the sites outlined in the tour description but it lost a star as the tour was a bit bland. It is not the fault of the tour guide, it is that the sites around the area are what they are. We had lots of time at the sites and the tour was well organized.

History, Architecture, and a Lighthouse - Enjoyed the Sunnmore museum visit the old houses in the open air museum ... Also thought the ship building was impressive too ... Giske Kirke (first Photo stop at this 12th century marble church) was a good way to start ... Scenic driving with narration was very good ... At the Alnes Lighthouse we climbed the stairs of the Lighthouse and enjoyed the magnificent view over the Atlantic Ocean ... would highly recommend this tour

It was just ok - It was just ok. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgable. The booking was misleading as to the amount of walking that was required. It actually did not list walking up steep inclines, I felt bad for the people who purchased and didn’t know. The highlight was definitely the lighthouse and being able to go up in the lighthouse and take panoramic pictures.
