Prepare yourself for a day full of awe-inspiring and breathtaking landscapes. Starting from Ålesund by bus, you’ll soon be on your way along the splendid Storfjord. Soak in the lush green fields of Valldal, the home of the tastiest strawberries. Traverse the bridge at Gudbrandsjuvet, a picturesque gorge where the purest water cascades down 20-25 meters into a crag. Explore the thrilling Troll Road (Trollstigen) and marvel at the stunning view of the Istradal valley from the zenith. To round off your day, you’ll pay a visit to the towering and monumental Troll Wall (Trollveggen).

- At time of booking, Cruise ship passengers must provide the following information at time of booking “ship name”
- This excursion without lunch lasts 6.5 hours, while the version with lunch lasts 7.5 hours. If your ship is in port for at least 8 hours, you can join the tour without lunch and return in time for your ship’s departure. For ships in port for 9 hours or more, you may choose either the lunch-included or lunch-excluded tour. We routinely begin this excursion 30 minutes after a ship arrives in port.
- Trollstigen is closed for the 2024 season. The risk of falling rocks poses too great a danger to keep the road open until adequate safety measures are implemented. Trollstigen plateau is still accessible. Due to the route change, we will not be able to visit Trollveggen on this tour.
- Service animals are not allowed by default as other customers may have allergies, in case a service animal is needed please contact us
- All vehicles support foldable wheelchairs
- All terrain are wheelchair accessible

The meeting point is within walking distance from the port/pier and most of the hotels. Look for our staff on the pier, yellow jackets, carrying our company logo. Be at the meeting point 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Please note that "gate" means "street" in Norwegian.

Amazing experience!!!! - The views are absolutely amazing! I think the fjords of Norway are truly the most beautiful place on earth! It is a not miss locale. If you get the opportunity to visit this location, do so! You won't regret it. The road to the top is nerve wracking with all the twists and turns, but when you get to the top, boy oh boy, is it worth it! It is exhilarating and exciting and the view is unbelievable. Do it!!!!

Highly recommend! - Guide and Driver were great. Very knowledgeable. Had plenty of time at each stop. Lunch buffet was very nice as well.

Wonderful - Norway is absolutely beautiful. Going from the fjords to the mountains so stunning. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and spontaneous. Very happy with our trip!!

Follow the scenic road to Troll's Ladder - This was our second day with our excellent guide, Denise, with Norway Excursions. We saw spectacular scenery. The highlight of the drive was going to be Trollstigen (Troll's Ladder), but the road was closed because of landslides. We did get a good view at the top of the mountain from a viewing platform of the switchbacks. Cross your fingers that it will be back open when you visit so you can experience all those switchbacks.
In Stordal, we peeked in the window of the Rose Church. The interior was decorated in 1799 by travelling craftsmen. You can purchase a ticket at the nearby house, or explore the graveyard for free. Next to it was an old long house from the 1800s. The length, low ceilings, and small windows were all designed to maximize heat retention in the winter. Just down the road was our lunch spot serving some traditional Norwegian food. It was a beautiful and relaxing day.

Unforgettable experience! - The scenery was spectacular! Totally fell in love with Norway. Our guide Denice was knowledgeable, very intelligent, full of life and spunk, and a lover of nature and the environment. She made the excursion unforgettable! Highly recommend!!

Don't book these inferior Vacations To Go Shore Excursions! - This 3-hour Aruba Vacations To Go excursion was so disappointing.
I was particularly interested in the Casibari rock formations. However 1) he did not point out the dragon's mouth at the Casibari rock formation. I had read about it, and was surprised that he did not mention it. I walked around looking for it, and eventually had to surreptitiously eavesdrop on another tour guide.
2) There were at least two trails to get to the top of the Casibari rocks and I had no idea which was the easier one for me to take.
3) I heard another guide mention a tunnel but Johnnie was in the van, and I was not inclined to go return to the van, ask him, and then return to the rocks.
4) He mention how the Arawaks used to "listen" to the rocks to predict bad weather. I keep wondering what other tidbits of information did he NOT share about the rocks! I was hoping for a knowledgeable guide.
5) At the Casibari rocks, he did not tell us how much time we had there. I was the last one to board the van at the Aloe Factory earlier so I wanted to make sure that I didn’t make the same mistake again. It didn’t occur to me that we had no time frame until after I had been inside the rocks for a while. I had no idea how long it would take to go up to the top, so I just went back to the van quickly. Too much missing information!
Hard-to-understand information!
Johnnie stayed in the van at the Gold Ruins too, so I had no idea which was the easier path to take to get an overview of how the gold was processed. He mentioned that the Dutch stole 3 million pounds of gold. Most people have no idea what that means. It’s equivalent to 10 bedrooms of gold!
Misinformation!
Johnnie said that there are no birds in St. Kitts, because mongoose were imported and they ate all the birds. This is incorrect! Mongoose do prey on the eggs and hatchings of ground-nesting birds and sea turtles but in 2012, there were 238 bird species in St Kitts.
I value a guide who is knowledgeable and considerate. That is NOT the experience that I was hoping to have! I would not recommend Johnnie!

just ok - the tour was altered due to road conditions - so not in your control but there was not attempt to stop someplace alternately to make up for it. The biggest disappointment was food. Lunch was just really not very good.
