Lovely country - The tour was very enjoyable. The tour guide was very informative and pointed out many scenic areas along the way. All the stops provided beautiful scenery and views with good descriptions from our guide

Great trip; only a bit rush - The views were spectacular! The trip was a bit too rushed. Wish we had a few more minutes at each stop, especially at the ancient church (first stop). It would've been nice to be able to walk around the church and the very quaint streets around it!

Viator is a good company for travel in Europe. - I missed one trip from Viator due to pick up schedule changed one day before. Please advise can I get a refund for this trip. Since my phone did not work on the ship from time to time I did not see the change in time. Thanks, Johnson. I was on Apex from 6/18-25 cruise to Norway.

Good way to tour and then walk down from Aksla - Pros- 3 stop tour that provided a short tour of the area. Giske church outside only, Alnes lighthouse which we enjoyed climbing and seeing the views, and Aksla viewpoint where we left the tour and walked down the steps, enjoying exploring the city on our own from there. Cons-pre-recorded narrative on headsets while easy to hear and understand, did not provide much personal interaction with the guide. Also, could not enter the church. Overall a good way to get around and see things quickly, and get to the top of the hill. On a cruise, we really enjoyed taking our time walking down and exploring the area during our one day in Alesund.

Trip worth doing 😃 - Excellent trip to the islands. Great that the coach was quiet, no intrusive music. Commentary via headphones so if you didn’t want to listen you didn’t have to. Plenty of time to view the lighthouse and take photos at other stops. Only downside was that the bus didn’t display a sign in the window and took us a while to ensure we had the correct bus.

Mediocre excursion - The driver was late leaving, because waiting on a late ship. Therefore, he drove a little fast trying to make up time. The automatic recording in the bus did not explain where sites were (ie on the left or right). The bus was cramped.

Underwhelming - The driver/guide was not very knowledgeable and did little to make the experience more enjoyable. Really, the whole itinerary seemed very “underwhelming.”

Bus Driver Needs to Communicate! - Ride thru 4 tunnels to outlying islands. Driver did little to none communicating.
He left us at final attraction telling us we only had to walk down stairs & walk to our ship. At most 25 minutes. Well he did not tell us it was a steep 15 minute walk uphill first followed by another 15 minute walk to reach the down staircase of over 430 steps!!

Dont book this tour - Unfortunatly this wasnt so great, no live guide, only a driver and a digital guide. the digital guide was not synched with the views. Nice views , I would skio the church and go directly to the lighthouse. will not recomend this tour.

Terrible experience! The bus didn’t show up! - Terrible expérience, the bus never showed up to pick us at the pier between the bus terminal and the pier as per instructed upon receptof tickets.
We phoned the tour operator but no answer, we phoned Viator and talked with one of theor agent who then tried to phone the tour operator without any luck either.
All 8 cruise passengers were left stranded at the pier for 90 minutes!
Do not book this tour, I am requesting a refund!
